FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY + SPACE DETAILS: • Guests are allowed to bring their own alcohol • Outside food is allowed • Kitchenette • Cooking and food preparation is allowed on site • Speakers, Projector • Music Rules: DJ and amplified music is allowed • Space Rules: Smoking is not allowed, Confetti is not allowed, Fog machine • Ideal space for: Performances (Dance Recital, Fashion Show, etc.), Kids Birthday Party, Social Parties (Adult Birthdays, Graduations, etc.) The open nature of the space allows it to suit many different event needs, including performances, concerts, birthdays, baby showers, product launch events, business meetings, exhibitions, lectures, and much more. 70+ Chairs and 20+ tables can be provided at no cost. The venue is conveniently located near the G train (Greenpoint Ave, 5 min) and L train (Bedford Ave, 20 min). Street parking is available. Load-in/out Policy: The space is ONLY available for the contracted rental times. Time for load-in, load-out, cleaning and any other access to the space must be included in the contract. Note: The venue is on the second floor of a walk-up building (no elevator) with its own private entrance.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

This space is big and has a few aminities when they are working!!! Unfortunately it is being managered incorrectly. We booked a wedding reception on August 24 from 4-10pm. When we came into the space at 4pm the party from the night before had tore up the place. The floors were dirty and sticky. The bathroom Reaked of piss and had to mopped as well. My husband in his tuxedo mopped the entire space and bathroom before we could put a table or chair to the floor,. And we had been told a cleaning crew came in at 5am after a booking to clean up after the booking????!!!! When we got there the sink was stopped up with red-ish liquid in it. And the refrigerator was not working. We got stuck with 84 beers because after two hours in the frig they were still as hot as the day we bought them. We have a current complaint with Peerspace pending right now. We want 50% of our booking fee returned for all the trouble we had to go through!!!! Rent this space at your own perile and doom!!!!

This space was perfection. Great location, large and spacious. Having a kitchen with a full fridge available is amazing. My family had an amazing time and all complimented the space. Mel was an amazing host and I will be recommending this space to all friends and family.

my church rented Mels space, for our pentacost sunday service ,the space was super clean and it was the perfect size. Had a little trouble getting in but Mel was great we had an awesome service and my church was pleased ,if you need a space for anything rent Mels space

We had a great time renting this space. It had everything we needed, including a kitchen. It was clean and spacious. The host was very accommodating and communicative throughout the whole process quickly answering any questions we had. I would highly recommend this space.
