About the Space
Located in the heart of downtown Alameda, CA., in the PHOENIX Alameda building amongst the artist studios. This quaint photo studio, at 475 square feet, is the perfect studio rental for table top, product, flat lays, headshots, and small set on-figure portraits. The studio space is also a great setup for casting calls, offsite meetings, and workshops. AMENITIES 475 sq feet Private space with door Styling tools - ironing board, stand up steamer, clothing rack (add on) Office desk + chair Sitting area WIFI Easy ground level load in Conveniently located near many local eateries Wheelchair accessible restrooms Skylights Walls are not floor to ceiling. Subject to ambient sound. This studio is not perfect for sound recordings. Please discuss your needs with us if you are recording sound. Lighting and equipment is not including in the space rental. All equipment must be provided by guest. Set up and break down is not included. Make sure to allocate enough time in your rental window for set up and break down. For productions with a crew over 25 people or castings that need a separate waiting room, there are options available within our space to add on. Add on spaces available: The Art Gallery rents for an additional $75/ hour and includes a small lounge, high tables and stools and 2 giant bean bags. Please contact us for images of this space if interested. The Writer's Room rents for an additional $50/hr. This is a great spot for Hair and Make up, staging etc. The Writers Room has a beautiful aesthetic and is completely private.

- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities

- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.

The photo studio at Phoenix is a really functional space. It's large with high ceilings and privacy; great for my work. The entire place is quiet and welcoming and easy to work in. I booked a second portrait session right away.

I was able to book this space last min. The host Jesse was super helpful. I arrived about 30 mins early, and Julie met me outside and showed me the way to the back of the building where there was a very nice space with a table for me to see up food. There was furniture available for us to use just in case. The only issue is that the lighting was not great. It was very harsh and kinda on the yellow side. Other than that I would recommend this to anyone looking for a private space for a good price
