An historical house in the middle of Hyde Park that's just gone through an entire remodel. My dad bought this house in the 1970s, but it was built in 1925. We tried to keep the house as close to the original as possible when we remodeled it. We salvaged all of the original wood trim and floors and left some of the original ship lap exposed. So The neighborhood is littered with restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and parks, all within walking distance. Alamo Draught House recently purchased the school across the street and has added a huge vegetable garden in the front and fruit trees will soon line the sidewalks. There's ample parking on the street in front of the house, but also across the street. We have an open floor plan, perfect for parties. Currently we have a table that seats six and the chairs to go with it, but we are open to getting more tables and chairs as needed. The bathroom and kitchen will also be available for use.
