About the Space

Our studio is spacious, well-equipped and available for daily rental. The studio is an open 1,600 square-foot space with 15-foot ceilings and a shooting alcove. The shooting alcove contains a 25’ white corner cyc, along with an adjacent 17’ green screen. The alcove can be separated from the rest of the space with floor to ceiling fleece curtains, which also provide the additional backdrop options of black or gray. The alcove ceiling contains acoustical panels to enhance accoustics when recording audio. The studio is also fully equipped for multi-camera live streaming. We can provide equipment and crew to produce and stream your livestream event, panel, training, performance, etc. The studio is yours to use privately but we can provide any crew if needed (producer, director, DPs, grip, PA, sound, make-up, etc.). Post production resources available as well to use or hire (Mac workstations with 4K displays). Dressing room, coffee and kitchen, air conditioning, fiber speed wifi with wifi printers, chromecast, sound and projection system, loading dock, free convenient parking, and other amenities to accommodate and impress. Close to Spyhouse, Tattersall Distilling, and several brew pubs.

Space has natural light

Lighting description

There is a single skylight in the ceiling that fills the studio with a small amount of natural light. When the skylight shade is closed the space is completely dark (even during a sunlit day) allowing complete control of the lighting in the space.

Space is soundproof

Ambient noise description

Studio walls contain soundproofing fiberglass insulation to ensure minimal adjacent noise. Ceiling in shooting alcove contains drop down acoustical panels to keep sound dampened. The studio is in a quiet end of the building in a quiet neighborhood. No ambient sound from any appliance (including ductless air conditioning that is whisper quiet). The occasional sound intrusion or interruption is minimal. We've had success recording sound in the space for over 10 years.

Ground Floor

Equipment loading description

The entrance to the studio space is directly off a loading dock area. Exterior door and wide loading dock doors lead directly into space (all ground floor). Loading truck needs to be moved after offload but free parking is available on site.

Staging area is available

Enclosed edit bay room doubles as make-up and prep area. Separate small changing room provides privacy for talent.

All rooms are available for shooting

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Electrical system description

The shooting alcove contains multiple outlets coming off three separate commercial power rated circuits, including receptacles on both side walls of space and two 4-plug outlet receptacles hanging directly within the shooting area for convenient lighting connection. Circuit breaker accessible on wall within the shooting area.

General Rules

No smoking inside the space or building. Smoking is permitted in the designated area just outside the building. There is also a sculpture garden picnic area adjacent to the building that makes for a good outside break. COI May Be Required

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Any furniture or items within the space can be moved. The studio remains sparse and any thing that may need to be moved is on wheels or lightweight.

Smoke machines are allowed

Nudity is allowed

Security cameras and recording devices

Security cameras managed by building outside the space in the common area and building exterior. No cameras inside the studio.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Health and Safety Measures

Regularly cleaned and sanitized. Limited use of the space, with limited number of people occupying the space at once.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:
