Located just 3 minutes from the beach in the heart of Downtown Santa Monica, 1212 Santa Monica is a restaurant that celebrates the rich diversity of SoCal cultural landscape. Trained internationally, Chef Luca Maita has created a menu that is focused on using the best of locally sourced fresh ingredients. With over 12,000 square feet of two-story, open space; the architecture is a blend of modern and traditional materials and design elements. Simultaneously dynamic and intimate, 1212 is remarkably flexible which can be reprogrammed easily for various events of both scale and character. The main bar and dining room occupy the first floor. Accessed by stairs from both the bar area and main dining room, a wrap-around balcony overlooking the main dining room offers additional seating, while a secondary dining and bar area functions as both an after-hours lounge and Private Dining Room. Perhaps most impressive is the ceiling with fully-exposed long span bow-trusses with over 100 copper drop lights that unifies the first and second floor. The lights also act to expose and heighten the warmth of space’s material palette; the wood floor and selective areas of the surrounding walls, textured stone, wood bow trusses, and colorful tiles provide additional warmth. Patio seating is also available on the main floor, and a glass façade (complete with bi-fold doors) creates a natural synergy with the bustling energy of the Promenade. Given its extensive flexibility and casualness both in size and types of spaces, 1212 is particularly well suited for weddings. Our ability to accommodate Ceremonies and Receptions Dinner on the same day. We’ll deliver a unique style/character of every wedding, and the range of very private to very public types of spaces is unique in LA. This is particularly important as you navigate through Rehearsal Dinners, Bachelor and/or Bridesmaid parties, the Wedding itself, and Reception. Of course, our Chef Luca will work closely with the couple to create a personable customize menu which matches your identity. We are there as your resource anytime needed.

Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
