The Delehey Family Barn backs up directly to the Minuteman Trail, where, over 200 years ago, Paul Revere completed his famous ride. In addition to the barn, the front yard, front porch (extra-wide, full-wrap), back yard, and back porch (brand new renovation, full, screened-in) are all available for booking. The entire property sits on 1 acre of land and is best suited for large groups. When we posted our location, we wanted to supply a space for wedding receptions (given COVID-19 reschedulings) but of course are welcome to other types of events as well. All wedding-reception or event rentals must be provided by the renter. We do not supply tables, chairs, tents, decorations, or any other logistical items. We can supply electricity via outdoor outlets. If a wedding reception, we highly recommend brining your wedding planner to determine rentals, logistics etc. We love nothing more than supplying our space, but please note we will, for the most part, be un-involved in the production of the event. The location itself is nestled on Independence Road, a quiet elevated neighborhood and one of the highest points in Concord, MA. At the bottom of the neighborhood sits The Alcott House, former home of author Louisa May Alcott (Little Women, 1868). The location is located exactly one mile from downtown, a 7 minute bike ride or 15 minute walk. Concord, MA is a small suburban town, rich with Revolutionary war history, located 20 miles northwest of Boston. Downtown Concord has many small, local shops and restaurants in addition to museums and other activities.
