About the Space
The location is perfect for workshops, meetings, small conferences, private dinners, family gatherings, retreats, a studio space to record your remote production, a location for your larger production, temporary business address and lodgings for your event in Dallas or Fort Worth or surrounding areas. The 2.5 acres of woods can be transformed into sets. We are making the house a sustainable showcase, and alterations may be made to the house if required for your project. There is a deck over looking the woods, a big covered porch, a garden in the back yard with a water feature. A creek in the woods and a big bamboo patch for an oriental touch. A living room space that could seat 20 people. A hotel 2 miles away and catering services. There is no view of the house from the street.

Lighting description
The windows are 6 feet tall in the living room and 6 feet wide in the bedrooms. The afternoons are the brightest. The windows may be covered with blackout curtains when necessary. Blackout curtains are available. Additional changes to the interior and exterior of the house may be made for the duration of your production.
Space is soundproof
Ambient noise description
The house is in the middle of the woods. The living room is protected from noise from the street because all of the rooms and office are between the exterior and the middle of the house. The back of the house does not face the street, but faces a hill. We have 7 twin bed mattresses that may also be used to cover the windows and doors to prevent any additional bird sounds from leaking in. The neighbors have an occasional party, and usually we do not hear any of the neighbors, including their cars or their dogs.

Equipment loading description
The driveway to the house is steep. The unloading zone is a single car space next to the back door. A 4 inch ramp is required for rolling equipment from the driveway to the back door.. That is available. There is a parking space (unpaved) in the woods for large vehicles.

A few closets upstairs. The apartment upstairs is a living quarters, and if this interesting space is needed the bed would need to be moved.

The circuit breaker is in the garage. The builder of the house was a master electrician, there are many outlets in every room.

General Rules
No smoking in the building please. No parties after 10 p.m., we have neighbors even if their houses cannot be seen from the location. No drugs or medicine ceremonies. Please extinguish the camp fire and all candles while unattended. Please do not walk on the roof. No parking on the street, there is parking in the driveway and in the woods. Be kind and considerate of the neighbors. Thank you!

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
The central air has been replaced by window AC units in every room. Air filters are around the house and in all of the AC units. The surfaces are disinfected several times a day, the floors every other day. There is 2.5 acres of woods and hills to enjoy lots of space and fresh air outdoors. Activities may also be held out of doors, and the covered front porch can accommodate 8 people in a meeting if seating is 6 feet apart.
We have a RO/ultraviolet water filter for drinking. Ultraviolet light kills bacteria. Dishes are washed with a dishwasher and if there is a lot of cooking happening, there are grills and an outdoor cooking space. In the event guests would like to shower outside, there are two outside showers. We have the room to help you breathe deep and relax in your own healthy personal space.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
