About the Space

Looking a large desert landscape? Our 20-acre location for filming and photography in the heart of Joshua Tree is available for your creative needs. This particular piece of the desert is an undeveloped, relatively flat expanse with about a half dozen mature Joshua Trees, a grand mountain view, flowering cacti and lots of powdery sand. Truly beautiful desolation. And while it seems far away from civilization, this location is approximately 10 minutes from the middle of downtown.

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
