Sean K. booked a documentary interview shoot for 6 people
Great space. A little annoying to fill out extra contracts and provide insurance (isn't that covered through this site?). But overall everything went very smoothly and we got what we needed. Thumbs up!
Alissa Z. booked a photo shoot for 4 people
We LOVED this space for our photo shoot. We got some of the most amazing images using the grit from the walls, no backdrops needed. Rebecca was so great to work with, too! So happy, can't wait to come back!
Ingrid A. booked a video shoot for 15 people
Space was fine. A bit dark and cold, and you could hear the spaces next door and even below. We used it for a animation workshop with about 14 people. The host also asked us to fill out a separate contract and give credit card info etc. outside of peerspace, which was not mentioned in the posting or the rules, so I would check in about that before booking.
Ali A. booked a video interview for 4 people
This place is beautiful and Axel was very kind and helpful. Lighting, the look, etc., were all great. Unfortunately, we had major problems with sound, and given that we were shooting a seated interview for a documentary, this was a very limiting factor for us. You can hear creaking on the floor boards each time people walked by in the hallway outside (which was shockingly loud), you can hear other people from other rooms, noise from outside of forklifts and other things being moved, that made an interview that should have taken just an hour take easily 2.5 hours. If capturing very delicate sound is your goal, I would not recommend this place, though it really does look beautiful and the staff are very kind and they do try to help with some of the sound issues.
Thomas M. booked a film shoot for 7 people
Great looking space and extremely helpful staff. Old building with thin walls and plenty of construction outside so it was sometimes difficult to record audio. We were provided with sound blankets and signs from the staff which was a very nice gesture.
