Head to @la_lidia_studio to see how guests have used the space! The space has old worn-in wood floors, it used to be a luggage factory. The ceilings are about 15' high, with all-white walls and a white exposed ceiling. An architect lived in the space previously, and he built out the kitchen with nice appliances and solid walnut cabinetry. The front closet doors are natural steel. The living room represents a collection of furniture I have found over the years, and this collection is growing still. There are textbooks and art books I've accumulated on the bookshelf, and an architectural model of my thesis project I did while getting a master's degree in design. Included in your booking: - 3 Neewer C-Stands - 3 Softboxes (white continuous lighting) - 2 Umbrellas (white continuous lighting) - 1 Lightbulb (white continuous lighting) Extra - Seamless backdrop: white, black, green - Greenroom access - Complete privacy *Note that the space is my personal studio, and I may be present working out of sight in my private room up in the loft. If you require the space completely to yourself, please reach out to me for consideration. Note that there is a $25/hr premium to accommodate your request. **This is not a holding space. SHOOTING OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING IS NOT ALLOWED. photo studio, loft, architecture, photoshoot, factory, historic, brick, concrete, plants, jungle, wood deck.

A wonderful space! It was actually more beautiful in person than in the pictures! Very easy to get to, the host was so welcoming and helpful, and we had a great time. Thanks again!

Host was flexible and very easy to work with! Clean, beautiful space as well. The walls are a bit thin, so heard neighbors in calls, which effected recording some audio, but was able to work around it. Recommend this spot esp due to the decor and morning light.

Initially, Santiago was awesome, he called me right after booking and even let me come over and see the space to feel out if it would be suitable for our shoot. It felt like it would be a solid experience and Santiago seemed nice. On shoot day things were different, there were dirty dishes in the sink and the apartment was a bit messy. It definitely felt a bit more cluttered than the initial meeting and it really just felt like he didn't even bother to clean up before we came. We shot a: 30-second ad for a non-profit in the space and my Assistant Director informed me that he was literally peeking in and out of his loft above to see what we were doing. I understand people sometimes rent out their homes on this site and it's a great source of additional income but if you're uncomfortable with people using your living space for a shoot you probably shouldn't be listing it online. We were respectful of his space and there was a mishap with one of our crew bumping into the stove and another crew member taking a phone call out in the hallway. Don't rent this space if you have any sort of event that is more than 2 people because his neighbors are some of the rudest people I've ever met. My assumption is neighbors have had a bad experience with Santiago and people renting the space previously so they're annoyed with any unfamiliar faces. Save yourself the headache and find another place, even if it's more expensive, appearances are not always what they seem.

Amazing!!
Eric H. booked an off-site for 10 people
Host wasn’t responsive. No communication. There wasn’t sufficient light and there were so many rules. Would never come back or recommend for any shoots.

La Lidia Studio is a great space for videotaping documentary interviews. It's a large, attractive, and quiet location.
