PRODUCTION HOUSE DALLAS Production House is a fully-equipped, fully climate-controlled professional photography & videography studio in the Dallas Design District built for creatives by creatives. The 2,100 sq. ft open floor plan has both natural light and controlled light shooting areas and is fitted with a large three-sided hard white cyclorama stage (or “cyc wall”). The space is perfect for natural light photography, commercial photography, product photography, headshots, fashion photography, boudoir, maternity shoots, music videos, and more. All booking rates include access to the full studio space including the cyclorama stage and include electricity usage, high-speed internet access via WIFI, and climate control access. GREETING / LOUNGE / LIFESTYLE AREA: Upon entering the studio you will see a beautiful modern glass desk that can be utilized as a greeting desk, work area, sanitation/temperature station, assistant desk, etc. Adjacent to the desk is the lounge area with a leather sofa, leather chair, deep red oriental rug, mid-century style media console, a wall hung 65” Samsung Frame TV with AirPlay, and a variety of live plants and props that can be utilized anywhere in the studio. NATURAL LIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY: The natural light area has east-facing windows and a large clear glass paneled roll-up loading dock door. The windows are fitted with three sets of curtains. The first set is a white light-filtering chiffon fabric, the second set is a white partial light-blocking fabric, and the third set is a blush velvet full light-blocking fabric. CONTROLLED LIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY: The entire studio is up-lit with hanging 5000K / 24,000 Lumen LED bay lights that reflect off the white ceiling to provide an abundance of evenly distributed white light. We also offer professional lighting equipment at an additional charge or you can bring your own. The bay lights can be turned off and the windows blocked with the installed light-blocking curtains to allow for full lighting control. CYCLORAMA STAGE / CYC WALL: The rear of the studio is fitted with a large three-sided hard white cyclorama stage (or “cyc wall”) that is approximately 27’ wide by 17’ deep by 14’ tall with a 23’ extended shooting area and a large 30” radius cove. The cyc wall makes it extremely easy to get that perfect infinity white look from any angle. This is the perfect space for commercials, music videos, fashion photography, product photography, web photography, and so much more. HAIR & MAKEUP STATION: The hair & makeup station is fitted with a heavy-duty 8’ long bar height workbench, commercial table-top power strip, a directors chair, and a huge 85”x40” wall mounted crystal-clear professional Hollywood-style mirror with 26 premium dimmable 5000K daylight LED vanity bulbs producing a whopping 8,840 Lumens. WARDROBE & STYLING: The wardrobe and styling area consists of a heavy-duty rolling “Z-Rack” clothing rack, multiple hangers, a professional-grade Jiffy Steamer, and a full-length mirror. CRAFT SERVICES / KITCHEN AREA: The kitchen area is fitted with beautiful red retro-style appliances (refrigerator, microwave, ice maker), modern white cabinets, butcher block style countertops, white kitchen sink with commercial style pull-down pre-rinse faucet, push-button quiet garbage disposal, white floating shelves with dishes, wood cutting boards which double as props, a Nespresso machine & pods, a Keurig machine & k-cups, dishwasher, beautiful wood slab dining table & mid-century modern side chairs. GRIP AREA / EQUIPMENT / PROPS: We have a dedicated grip area loaded with c-stands, clips, sandbags, extension cords, apple boxes, black & white double-sided v-flats, rolling carts, ladders, scaffolding & more. There is no additional charge for just opening the door and putting your equipment in without the dock ramp. Our main door is just a few steps up from ground level. If you need us to accommodate a wheelchair, we will have people to help you safely get inside. (Our owner was in one after surgery for three months, we will get you on set.) LOCATION The space is located in the Dallas Design District, just 2 miles from the Dallas Market Center, tucked away from the busy city center, but just a rocks throw away.
