This enchanted, historic residence and the surrounding grounds were laid down in 1895 at the center of a lemon orchard. The lemon orchard is gone but the 126 year old mansion remains -fully restored to its 1895 grandeur inside and out. The house is situated on a hill top that provides stunning views making for a PERFECT event backdrop. The surrounding and spacious (2 acre) gardens and lawns will impress -towering 126 year old trees hem in the property and provide privacy. The interior of the house is fashioned beautifully with art and furniture, including bar and pool table + multiple elegant seating arrangements for photos. Your wedding photographer will love this place as much as you do. Natural light photographers will love the evening light as it filters through the trees. Experience this magnificently fashioned piece of San Diego County's ranching history -almost none of which still exists now. Our wedding schedule includes all dates between March 15th and July 10th of each year. These dates fill quickly: Unlike any other wedding/event location in San Diego at our level, we cater to events down to 9 or fewer guests in attendance. Minimum hours: 1-9 guests in attendance: 6 hours. 10-25 guests in attendance: 6 hours. 26-50 guests in attendance: 7 hours. 51-75 guests in attendance: 7 hours. As noted below, event set up, breakdown and rehearsals are billed at $49 per hour. We require that guests book at least 2 hours of set up time in advance of events with 50 or fewer guests in attendance. We require guests to book at least 3 hours of set up time for events with 51 or more guests in attendance. We require guests to book at least 1 hour for breakdown for all events. You DO NOT need to book our location at the event rate for event set up and break down. We charge $49 per hour for set up prior to your event and breakdown after your event. Up to ten workers can be on site for set up and breakdown. This reduced rate will allow our guests to set up their event exactly how they want without having to pay at the event rate while doing so. When booking our site, our staff will send you a custom offer that will reflect set up and breakdown prices. For weddings, a rehearsal can be booked for $49 per hour. We highly recommend booking a rehearsal of at least two hours. Proper preparation prevents poor performance. Our hours are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We offer free scouts of the location and encourage you to book a free walk through. We have a second house on site that comes with your event booking if you have more than 9 guests in attendance. For weddings, use of this house allows the bride to maintain distance from wedding guests and the groom while getting ready. Ask us about this second house during your walk through. Included in your booking at no extra charge: 1. Ten beautiful wooden benches that seat five people each. 2. A wedding arch that matches the benches. 3. Beautiful farm-house table seating for 50. 3. An onsite event manager that will help manage deliveries, guest arrival and answer questions. This service cannot be understated. Having an event manager who is familiar with the site allows the bride to focus on three things: getting ready, getting married and having a great time. 4. On site event staff that will coordinate vendors, greet guests and answer any questions. 5. Shuttles to and from guest parking. Parking: We ask your guests to park offsite at a church 3 blocks away from our location. Our staff will then shuttle your guests to the site. Our shuttles remain available during the entirety of your event to take guest to and from the venue to the parking lot. We have 15 on site parking spots for guests that will not be shuttled to the event. These guests include: The bride and groom, pregnant women, the disabled, the elderly and those others of your choice. ELOPEMENT PRICING: Our $99 per hour event rate is for weddings and events that are up to 9 people and are booked "as is"; meaning, there will be no deliveries or caterers. If your event/wedding will have deliveries of things like seating, dj equipment, caterers, etc, the cost increases to $600 per hour, no exceptions. We are the ONLY setting of quality to offer elopement prices. If you are looking for a beautiful setting in which to have an elopement, we are perfect for you. We have all of the gear necessary to make the elopement beautiful. Probably one of my favorite bookings. The space is amazing and rich in history. We shot plenty of great photos and video content at different areas of the house. Gives an awesome nature look if you're going for that. Christian was also very informative and helpful, showing us the best spots for pictures.

This space is absolutely breathtaking. Beautiful home, great light, and the decor and plants/landscaping is great for photo shoots. The host Christian was very friendly, gave us a thorough tour of the space, tips about when the lighting will be best in what areas of the property, then let us get to work.
