Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

Hi! Yours and my comfort and safety is most important to me. In order to ensure, to the best of my ability, that my space in clean and disinfected I am following the CDC guidelines before and after every guest. This includes: - Wear disposable gloves to clean and disinfect. - Cleaning all surfaces using soap and water to reduce the number of germs, dirt and impurities, then use disinfectant to kills germs on surfaces. - Routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces. High touch surfaces include: Tables, chairs, doorknobs and locks, light switches, remote controls, counter-tops, window panes, handles, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc. - Most importantly, I am tested for COVID-19 regularly and am not in regular or frequent close contact with others

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from the CDC
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Hand Sanitizer

About the Space

Located just one and a half blocks away from the 2/5 train in Flatbush, this is hidden gem in an older building. This apartment is recently renovated with modern kitchen cabinets, stainless steel appliances, tiled backsplash, and a nice counter-space. Nothing beats natural light, and this apartment is full of it. Five large windows throughout let in beautiful rays of light that bounce off of the cool white walls for a for a bright yet cozy vibe. Wood baseboards and window frames also help balance out the look by bringing in a bit of warmth. The layout includes the spacious kitchen which is separate from the living room with a dining area. Beautiful polished hardwood floors throughout. This is a great space for photography including lifestyle, fashion, product, or editorial photo shoots; videography including film shoots, music videos, and video tutorials; client/small group meetings including workshops and interviews; or small social gatherings. This fully furnished apartment is modern and elegant, but some beautiful plants make it feel cozy with simple clean décor and design elements that are statement pieces. Enough to accommodate any vision with space to move things around.

There is plenty of street parking in front of my building. I live in front of a one-way street so there are parking options on both sides of the street. I’m also across from the laundry mat that has a parking lot where parking is permitted for short periods of time.

Lighting description

5 large west-facing windows through the apartment let in lots of natural light throughout the day. Windows are all about 6'x2.5' and have light filtering curtains. Brightest between 10 AM - 6 PM in the spring and summer, 9 AM - 4 PM in the fall and winter.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

Noise is minimal as my window faces a residential area (not the street, thankfully!). Only a bit of noise from the neighbors only if the windows are open. I also have window A/C units that have a low hum when on.

Equipment loading description

Unit is on the 2nd floor of a walk-up, only one straight flight of stairs. Wide hallways easy for managing equipment. Plenty of street parking for loading trucks but no specific loading zone. Trucks are allowed to park as normal.

Electrical system description

Circuit breakers are located inside the unit and can be reset as needed. Apartment comes with 26 wall outlets (there are at least 2 outlets on every wall), and host owns 3 power strips with a combined 15 additional outlets. One power strip also contains 2 USB ports for USB charging.

General Rules

- Remove shoes inside the apartment - No loud noise, no pets, and no nudity - Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment or the building - Please do not rearrange the furniture or any other items without permission - Use of bedroom is not permitted unless it is discussed and confirmed prior to booking - Additional guest may be permitted with advance notice; increased cleaning fee will be applied - Please allow at least 24 hours notice for any special request - Please make sure A/C and lights are off, windows are closed, and trash is removed Important things to note: - Front door is self-locking and remains locked outside. Once you leave the apartment you will be locked out and unable to re-enter. Please be sure to turn off all lights and A/C, and double check for all belongs prior to leaving - There are surveillance cameras on the premises

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Stunning location. You'll have to see if for yourself to believe it. The images is good but in person is even better. Very spacious and lots of natural lighting. J'Aimee was very supportive and and easy to work with. I was able to go in and get the scenes I need for my short film. Definitely gonna book again.
