The bar opened in 2013 in Chelsea. The atmosphere is laid back; it is a tavern and nothing close to a nightclub. For an idea of the vibe, visit onestarnyc.com. Much of the walls are brick. A back room can hold crew of 30 plus. Our basement is available for complex filming setups. The bar has a unique shape: 50 feet long with an S-curve in the middle and includes 20 bar stools. There are several chalk boards behind the bar to help personalize the film shoot. The back room has several tables and 25 more seats. The most recent shoot here was a promotional video for the movie "Trivia Night." They had a crew of 10 with all kinds of equipment in the basement. The bar is two blocks from the F Train at 23rd Street and three blocks from the R Train at 23rd Street. Pricing is competitive as the bar is closed until 4pm. Anything that runs longer would incur a higher rate.
