Our iconic 1800 sq ft warehouse space in the Arts District of Los Angeles offers flexibility for multiple uses. Original used as a studio for light & space artist Norman Zammitt, the unit’s massive protected murals and artificially lit windows make it a creative & welcoming environment. A massive 44' stretch of warehouse windows is blocked from natural light and can be artificially lit, allowing us to mimic lighting conditions for day and night. Our massive overhead skylight includes a built in control system allowing for direct sun, diffused light, or blackout. Everything inside the space is meant to be arranged and rearranged for any situation. Perfect for: Photo & Video Shoots Live Streamed Events Pop-ups Workshops Galleries Showrooms The unit's layout consists of a main studio space connected to the kitchen, a separate lofted lounge area, a workshop, and full bathroom. Additionally, we have an isolated room used for audio monitoring upon request. The space is a converted warehouse originally used by light & space artist Norman Zammitt. Inside of the space there are two massive murals that are the remaining works of his masterpiece Elysium. These protected murals are coated with a special paint reactive to UV lights installed on the ceiling. In the dark, these murals glow bright colors. We are right on the East end of the 4th street bridge, a short walk from the new Honey HQ, SCI-Arc, Blue Bottle, and many more businesses central to the Arts District.
