After being abandoned for 8 years, this fully restored historic mansion in Mt Tabor retains its original historic character with a swanky, luxurious vibe. Renters will have full access to the entire 7,000 square foot house, 2,400 square feet of balcony and porch space and 13,000 square foot, beautifully manicured gardens and patio. The kitchen has a modern Downton Abbey vibe that is perfect for a catered dinner, sourdough cooking class or inspirational photo shoot. The lower level speakeasy with a huge cannon ball fireplace has a sexy scotch & cigar bar vibe. Lots of unique spaces with all kinds of different vibes. Wide open common areas make moving film and camera equipment easy.

Host was so accomodating and wonderful to work with. Had to re-schedule this booking a handful of times and I am so grateful for how understanding she was every time. The house was amazing in person as well!
Carly D. booked a photo shoot for 4 people
Beautiful house with lots of spaces to shoot in! Some of the rooms were not available and/or furnished as in the photographs, but we were able to adjust the art direction.

The Walter was a dream come true. It made for the perfect backdrop for my psychological horror film inspired by early cinema. The imagery was dreamy and matched the aesthetics I was looking for perfectly. I would book the place again in a heartbeat. I'd love to come back to book a day of dreamy photoshoots! Lyrin was also so helpful and accommodating, what a great host!
