I have a toddler, since prior to covid she was an infant i’m adamant about keeping things cleaned and disinfected. Having people in my house means i’ll do that twice as much because she is who i want to keep safe above all else. I do not provide masks however so everyone will have to bring and wear their own please and thank you.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from the CDC
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Hand Sanitizer

About the Space

NOTICE: Due to the rise in covid cases, this location will be observing new parameters to keep everyone safe. Please keep your film crew small. Each guest has to get a covid test before the event, negative results only NO EXCEPTIONS. Please wear your masks and wash your hands often, both available sinks are equipped with antibacterial soap and masks are available for those who need one. This space is perfect for filming just about anything. The acoustics make it great for live music, the lighting from the big windows makes it great for filming content or modeling and photography. The high ceilings and hardwood floors crate an airy mood that acts as a black canvas for whatever it is you’re looking to create. Angling the cameras just right can give you a view of the city in the back ground and during the day the windows let in so much natural light that until the sun goes down there’s no need to turn on any lights. Personal content has been filmed here, as well as a new short, and an interview. Even i myself film in here. I’m excited to lend my home as a creative space for locals especially but anyone who thinks this space is the right fit for their idea.

Parking description

while the parking lots are reserved for tenants there is street parking around the perimeter of the building. however the parking lot’s are available for loading and unloading and equipment needed.

Lighting description

Times of day that it's the brightest are sunrise to around 1 or 2 pm when it starts to set on the other side of the building. The natural light can be controlled with the window coverings, however they do not completely black out, the simply make it cooler and less bright.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

Though i don't have soundproofing on my walls, the acoustics are easy to control with mics and cameras. I am not on a busy street, there are no noisy appliances. This is an artist loft building and the noise doesn't travel very far unless someone has their door open, which is very seldom.

Equipment loading description

There is a loading zone, and two parking lots available for loading access. Loading trucks have to be moved to the street since parking lots are for tenants.

The circuit breaker is by the front door, i have about 12 available outlets as well.

General Rules

No access to either bedroom. Outside catering is allowed. No loud filming M-F after 10pm. Furniture can be moved out of the way or used as a prop if needed but must be move back during clean up.

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is required

If it breaks and it did not come with you, meaning it was an item that lives in my home there needs to be a conversation on replacing that item.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Furniture can be moved around, i encourage use of the tables and the couch, art can be placed in the storage room and out of the way.

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
