COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures
The entire cottage is fully cleaned between each booking.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from the CDC
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels

About the Space
Welcome to a 100 year old cottage located in Topanga, California just 10 minutes from Malibu! The cottage is truly out of a fairytale complete with a 5,000 sq. ft. garden, creek, outdoor bed, outdoor dining table, rustic bonfire, indoor fireplace, mini pigs, and chickens. Lighting description
There are beautiful windows in each room of the cottage with sheer curtains.
The brightest times to shoot are mid-morning to mid-afternoon.
Space is not soundproof
Ambient noise description
The neighbors are not noisy.
The street is very isolated and quiet.
There is an AC unit inside the house.
There are roosters who crow at 6:15am and sometimes during the day.

There is a parking space and street for load-in.
There is no ramp.
Loading trucks need to be moved, but let the owner know ahead of time and can coordinate an alternate parking area.

There is a living room and two bedrooms that set-up can occur.
Some rooms are off-limits for shooting
Basement, pig pen, and chicken coop.
Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed
Electrical system description
There are outlets in every inside room and outlets throughout the entire yard. There is also an extension cord available on site.

General Rules
No smoking
Please be careful with white front gate that opens up into the street. Slams easily so you must be careful closing it. It happens quickly so please be aware.
No touching the pigs or chickens, you may look and give snacks to pigs (veggies only)
Be very conscious of candles and fireplaces because our neighborhood is is in the mountains and we are prone to fires.
The home itself is vintage and everything in it is too. Please keep this in mind when booking! So you’re not surprised when you arrive :)
I advise not to go in the tree house but I can’t stop you. Enjoy your private fairytale oasis. Be careful and safe.
All spaces are yours except - no physically touching the animals because they are unpredictable. Feel free to give the pigs vegetables or fruit over the fence. They love that!! They are monitored by a camera.
No basement/laundry access temporarily (ask me if you want it in advance!)

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.Flexible
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
