The host believes in equal access to resources and opportunities. We also believe in cleanliness and responsibility, so below are some basic co-working guidelines. If you fail to follow the house rules, you will lose the right to come to or work in the co-working space.
The terms “co-working space, space, conference room, studios” all refer to Maxblau Campus (located at 89 Market Street), which are spaces that the host manages and/or owns.
THIS IS A COMMUNITY SPACE
The space is a shared resource. There are just a few simple rules.
If you empty it, fill it.
If you dirty it, clean it.
If you open it, close it.
If you spill it, wipe it.
Be kind and show respect to both members and visitors. The host's ability to survive and thrive depends on how you interact with others.
Try to give more to the quality of the space than you take from it.
Let us know when something needs fixing or improving!
Clean up after yourself — do your part to keep the space tidy.
With the inclusion of COVID protocols, we ask that all spacers wipe down all surfaces they touch before closing out for the day.
Do not place your shoes on any furniture.
Co-working is a shared working environment so everyone should do their best to
maintain a quiet working atmosphere.
Illegal data file download (torrent) is not allowed.
It is necessary to respect foreign property. In case of furniture or property damage arising out of negligence, you need to arrange a replacement or pay for the damage.
The protocol for replacing damaged items is below:
1) Contact the community/facility manager and inform them of the damaged property [mishap].
2) Receive confirmation from the said manager about the host’s proceedings to handle this mishap.
3) Follow through with the request the said manager made to resolve the matter of damaged property [mishap].
Bathrooms are to be left as you found them. No trash left out, all personal items taken out with you, no excessive mess left unattended to, no open food left unattended to, etc. If your guests use our bathrooms, please check them before you leave to ensure the bathrooms are up to the host’s standard [clean and clear].
We are fond of pets, but they do not belong in a working environment and are
therefore prohibited from entering the co-working space.
If you move or use anything in the space, place them back in their original order, placement, or arrangement.
This includes resetting the room after you have completed your work. This rule is for all open/shared spaces & amenities [i.e. Conference room, Studios, and Event Space].
If you are given a temp key/spare key: always place the spare key in the correct storage space, stated by the community manager/facility manager.
The co-working office space at 89 Market Street, Maxblau Building can be used between 10am and 6pm, Monday through Friday, by ambassadors or businesses sponsored by the host.
After Hours: If you’re using the space after 6PM, on weekdays/weekends/or any time a Community Manager/ Facility Manager isn’t present, please keep all exits closed/locked and be sure it’s left closed/locked behind you. If nobody else is working, turn off the lights and thermostat when you leave.
CONFERENCE ROOM/AMENITIES
There are 6 available conference/amenity rooms within our facilities:
The furniture in the conference/amenity rooms should stay there at all times.
The conference/amenity rooms can only be used for the defined purpose of the room [i.e. don’t hold a meeting in the podcast studio].
Do not let the conference/amenity rooms become your second home – to use it, you need to
book it through an online schedule, CoBot.
Conference/amenity rooms can not be used without prior reservation.
If you are using the multimedia studio, please clean off all tables with sanitizer wipes, please sweep the floor fully, and leave no decor/misc. [i.e. glitter, hair, makeup, hangers, etc.] items around the space or on the floor. Please reset the background paper and any lights or extra items that are the property of the host. Any damage to any of our property will have to be handled through monetary compensation.
COVID RULES:
Please do not go over the max amount of individuals in the space.
If you are working in said spaces with other people, please have your mask on at all times and separate as much as possible [i.e. keep socially distant].
Eating is not permitted in any amenity rooms [i.e. studios].
Eating is only permitted in the conference rooms when there are no more than 2 people; if there are two people eating, they must be socially distant while consuming food and beverages. Make sure to wipe off the surface and discard all of your food items in the trash cans.
Please do not remove tech from the conference/amenity rooms and use it in other locations, and vice versa.

Please keep your mask on when conducting your phone call at all times.
PRINTING

VISITS
Although visitors are allowed in the co-working space, everyone needs to abide by
the rules concerning the voice level.
You are welcome to invite guests into the space for short meetings of up to three hours. If they remain for longer, we ask that they purchase a day pass, if you are not a suite member. Your guest must stay in your suite and may not occupy our other rental spaces unless permitted by the community/facilities manager.
Please keep guest visits reasonably limited.
Of course, you are free to have guests join you anytime you have reserved the conference room. But, you must adhere to conference room rules and regulations.
Guests are allowed only between the hours of 10 AM-6 PM, for non-suite members.
Your guests should feel free to take water, coffee, tea, or any other snacks. Please make sure they do not overindulge, as it infringes on the amenities we give to other members of the space.
You will be held liable for anything and everything your guest does in our space.
Your guest has to abide by the house rules.
Including each and every COVID rule.
CONSERVE
One of the founding values of the co-working movement is sustainability. Please do your part.
Reduce. Don't print material that could remain in digital form; turn off lights or appliances that aren't being used, even if you didn't turn them on.
GARBAGE
Put all of your garbage in the garbage can. This will allow us to keep everything fresh and clean between cleaner visits.
NO POSTERS AND SIGNS
To keep things fair and consistent for all members, please don't put up signs or posters on the interior and exterior windows or walls.
Changes: These house rules may change from time to time as needed and in the sole discretion of the host. Please let us know if you have any questions.
