If your team requires masks, you can purchase them on site at $10 each. These reusable fabric face masks are made by our friends at Artists' Resource Mobilization. Please feel free to reach out if there are any additional measures that you or your team require.

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

About the Space

This location truly is a one stop shop! Our Time Gallery holds six unique film sets, all designed by local Chicago artists. Five of these rooms are themed around a different era in Chicago's history. Our sixth room is a flexible black box space. The film sets include: a pirate's dungeon, 1950s classroom, 1980s B-movie bedroom, 1930s detective's office, and finally, a cozy Midwestern grannie's house. You will have full, private access to this space, including our main lobby. Located in Wicker Park, this unique space has a neighborhood to match. The Time Gallery is within walking distance of Wicker Park's best restaurants, cafes, and the Damen and Division Blue Line trains. The Time Gallery is available 7 days a week. Two hour booking minimum, $200/hr on weekdays, $250/hr on weekends. For the safety of public health, renters are REQUIRED TO WEAR FACE MASKS at all times, with the sole exception of talent while on camera. By renting our facility, guests acknowledge that they are using a public space at their own risk, and take full responsibility for their personal health.

Parking description

After 6pm parking on parts of Paulina and Hermitage are free. WE DO NOT SUGGEST PARKING IN THE SHOPPING CENTER PARKING LOT. The rest of the parking around Wicker Park is permit only or paid street parking. We suggest taking the first space you find, and using the Park Chicago App for convenience to extend your parking time and avoid a ticket. For additional convenience, we recommend apps like SpotHero to help find available parking. As an added incentive, our customers can use the code 'escape17' for $5 off your first SpotHero booking.

Lighting description

Two of our sets, the Detective's Office, and Grandma's House, have natural lighting with adjustable blinds. Our main lobby space has a single window producing a small amount of natural light. The majority of our sets are windowless with controllable lighting.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

We occupy and entire floor of a historic Chicago building. The sets closet to the street, Detective's Office and Grandma's House, may experience minimal sound bleed.

Equipment loading description

We have access to an elevator on the side entrance of our building. Please get in touch with your host when you arrive, and they will help you operate it. This entrance is off a side street; there is no designated loading zone.

Staging area is available

Our black box space, the Freight Room.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

We have two offices located off our lobby space that are off-limit to shoot.

General Rules

Two hour booking minimum. No smoking is allowed. No food or drink is allowed inside the film sets themselves, but our lobby and black box space are food and beverage friendly. For the safety of public health, renters are REQUIRED TO WEAR FACE MASKS at all times, with the sole exception of talent while on camera. By renting our facility, guests acknowledge that they are using a public space at their own risk, and take full responsibility for their personal health.

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
