About the Space

A midcentury modern 2,600 square foot home was custom designed 1954 by architecture firm Powers, Daily, and DeRosa. An impressive fig tree hovers over a calming interior fountain that fall into a koi pond and connects the living room to the outdoors. The walls of glass throughout the home, open beam ceilings, and original built cabinetry, and natural light offers many interesting shots for photoshoots. With an open kitchen, 2 living spaces, 2 brick fireplaces, and 4 bedrooms (one currently filled with Pilates equipment) there are endless options for filming. The home is filled with designer and vintage furniture including pieces from Knoll, Roche Bobois, Galanter and Jones, Walter Lamb, Brown Jordan etc. The 11,363 square foot lot includes a flagstone courtyard, tropical themed pool and diving board, sunbathing area, cedar tub, BBQ, 2 outdoor dining tables, and a custom fire pit with midcentury furniture all surrounded by lush landscaping. For additional cost 1985 Mercedes 300TD Wagon, black with tan interior and moonroof is available.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
  • Disposable gloves
