Black Themed Room Perfect for Boudoir Photography

Absolutely beautiful studio! I loved all the props and the drinks the host had for us. My sister had the most beautiful boudoir maternity sessions.

It is unfortunate that I am having to write this review due to a lack of response by the host. The studio itself was great and I would definitely shoot here again but I did encounter some issues that I would have liked to have resolved without getting Peerspace support involved or having to consider other options. I booked the below studio and have reached out to the host regarding an issue with the availability of linens that are advertised in the posting as well as mentioned as an upgrade as available.  When I spoke to the assistant that met me at the property, she let me the know that the black sheets posted in the advertisement for the space were not available as the studio had used them previously and had not been washed. I was given the options of yellow, silver, blue or pink sheets (none of which are listed in the ad or shown) and decided I would rather buy my own sheets to achieve the look shown in the photos. When I reached out to the host to receive a refund of $75 - the cost of the upgrade unavailable to me - I never heard back. I am unsure why the lack of response comes after receiving clients’ money, but I do find it extremely unprofessional, especially when the fault lies upon the studio.

I did a boudoir session at this studio. It was a gorgeous studio for this! The lighting was perfect around 1-3pm when I was there. I would definitely like to book this studio again. However, I did have a couple of issues with renting this space. The first issue was that the bed doesn’t come with sheets as advertised in all of the pictures. The host charges $75 for sheets which I found to be a little excessive. I decided to buy a new set for $32. That worked fine but was an additional unforeseen cost for my clients. I also noticed that the price for this studio went up from $80-$85 right after I booked it so again, that’s an increase in price for my clients. When I got to the studio, it was extremely hot. Both my client and I were sweating. There is no AC that I could find in this space. I recommend bringing your own fan or something to cool the area down. I can’t imagine how hot it would be in the summer. The final issue that I had was that the couch in the space was completely different than the couch that was advertised in the pictures. I tried to bring this up to the host and she didn’t respond to my message about that. I took no pictures of my clients on the couch when I definitely intended to. I hope that the host updates her pictures and advertises the studio properly in the future. I’m not leaving this review to point out issues, I want to make things better for people who rent the studio in the future.

This room was just what we expected. It was clean, beautiful, functional and the process to book it, get in and out was simple.
