Stunning Outdoor Tiki Event Space

Ultimately. Our graduation party was a success. We were glad that this location was available as the ambiance was what we were looking for..however there’s are a few areas of concern for us that will not allow us to book again. 1. The owners of the house stayed the entire event which made our event less private and less personal. Our advice is that they ask guess how much of involvement they would like from them prior to. 2. We were unaware that we would be accompanied by the owners and 3 additional house staff that would be very active on site and without uniform. Out of respect, we welcomed them but felt very invaded as far as privacy 3. After 8:30pm the pool area got VERY dark the lights that are there did not light up the space with a comfortable lighting. Additional lighting is necessary. 4. We had to pay additional $75 plus $250 deposit to use the pool and was required to get out of the pool at 9pm without advanced notice and although we rented until 10pm. We were told that certain blow ups were not allowed even though we had already signed a liability waiver. We were disappointed and have not yet receive our deposit. It has been 3 days.. 5. We were not happy that the owners of the house were ordering drinks from our bar without regard or permission. It seems that there was no respect for privacy and an overbearing entitlement due to the fact that they are the homeowners. We cannot comprehend how they feel. This was a good choice if we are Clients. 6. in their listing it states that the music can be amplified however, after numerous requests to turn up the music, these requests were denied, and the music was set very low at a dinner party level. Our event never allowed for a party feel more of an eloquent get together that was not what we were looking for and we were hoping to have more of a party celebration experience. - this is not the place rent if you were looking for a party this is more for a low-key light dinner party experience. After booking were notified of all these rules that the city of Fort Lauderdale imposes. It was too late to cancel, and we were extremely disappointed in the restrictions that were placed on us after the fact. 7. Parking was beyond inconvenient. They only allowed up to 10 cars at one time even at eight cars. The city of Fort Lauderdale came to try to cite them for too many cars stating that only four we’re allowed. It is very difficult for only 10 cars to park when there are 30+ guests. It cost extra stress that was not necessary because with more cars we would lose our deposit. All in all, I do think that the owners of this house have great intentions they want to help and make the best experience possible. However, I do not believe that these intentions are communicated well or agreed. Our guests felt an immense invasion of privacy, and there are many fees that spring up after booking that are not communicated in the listing prior to the event and we’re not stated in the listing. Such as insurance for vendors. The music level was a big damper for us as we were trying to have a party and not a dinner party. The request to get out of the pool at 9pm was shocking as we rented the place and pay for a rental of the pool ahead of time. Overall, we did not expect to rent a place with an involved owner and owners staff on site along with their staff that regulated everything from start to finish. We were hoping to have a private event. I only recommend this event to someone that is looking for a lot of help and do not mind a lot of help from people they don’t know and more like a dinner party. The homeowners are very nice, but my overall experience is a 3 out of 10. This is coming from someone that does events all the time and require a certain level of space & professionalism.

We had hosted our gender reveal at this beautiful location. Our guests loved the views and ambiance. Highly recommend! The hosts were so kind and gracious. Thank you!

We booked this space for a team outing. The venue was perfect, great yard to hang out, go in the pool and just enjoy yourself in this tropical getaway. The hosts are super friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely be booking this again
