About the Space

The space is eclectically decorated with furniture and artwork that create a cool, bohemian atmosphere. This garage is truly a flex-space. Original details like timber beams and exposed brick walls can be found throughout the space giving off a raw aesthetic. The garage has two industrial size doors that open to the alley for easy loading in and out of equipment, making it perfect for productions. The Grand Kimball Lodge contains 4 unique spaces; 2 residential units, 1 office space, and 1 warehouse space. Health and Safety Measures
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

We used this space for a photoshoot. Robert was a great host, and he and his assistant were caring and generous. The space was a little dirty, so my photographer was sprinkled with dust and dirt by the end.
