Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

Our space is kept highly sanitized. Our hourly rate does not include a $50 cleaning fee per day.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from the CDC
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

About the Space

Our space is about 1700 square feet. Perfect for film/video productions looking for a fitness/gym/dance/yoga studio. The space itself is a lobby, large studio equipped with color changing lights, a large back room, changing room, and restroom. The open, sunlit lobby has white walls, plants, benches, and desk. Everything is modular and nothing is structural in the lobby except for our Noguchi lighting fixture. The large studio has wooden floors, a full wall of mirrors, ballet barres, hue lights, music plug ins, and professional speakers. There are weights and fitness equipment neatly stored for our regular clients here and available for an extra price. The back area is an open room with a pink tint from the treated glass windows, with an adjacent changing room. Restroom is gender neutral. We are located on Figueroa Street, a main hub for Highland Park with lots of coffeeshops, boutiques, and great restaurants surrounding us. We have equipped the studio with a HEPA air purifier, there is an A/C and fan, and sanitizing stations set up around the studio.

Parking description

There is a total of 6 spots behind the studio available for use. There is a back entrance for easy loading. We are conveniently located in front of a Gold line stop in Highland Park where there is a large metered parking lot directly behind our private parking as well as free street parking within walking distance. There's also metered parking up and down Figueroa Street, in front of the studio.

Natural light can not be blocked out

Lighting description

Daytime hours have the lobby flooded with natural light. The back room is lit by daylight but does not get as bright as it's not facing the sun. The main studio doors are tinted pink, but can be blacked out with curtains that you will need to supply on your own.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

The street is busy with foot traffic but is reasonable and not at all loud. Inside the studio is quiet. Noise from neighbors or outside can only be heard from the lobby.

Equipment loading description

The front entrance is located on the ground floor off of Figueroa. Our back entrance has a small flight of stairs you will need to descend before arriving at the back door.

Staging area is available

The back area where there are cubbies and a wardrobe rack. You will need to supply tables/chairs. Benches from lobby can be brought into the back area if extra seating is needed.

All rooms are available for shooting

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

General Rules

No smoking and no alcohol allowed in the building. Do not touch the exercise equipment - this includes weights, mats, balls, and straps - unless a contract is signed with us to do so.

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is required

Renter must furnish Body Dada Studio with a certificate of insurance naming Body Dada Studio as Additional Insured under Renter’s Comprehensive General Liability policy. Comprehensive General Liability must be in an amount not less than $1,000,000/$1,000,000 Bodily Injury Liability, and $1,000,000 Property Damage Liability.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

If moving our front desk or workout equipment including weights, balls, mats, and straps - please notify us beforehand so we may do it for you.

No smoke machines allowed

Check with your host if there are any surveillance cameras or recording devices in the space.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Cancellation Policy

Grace period

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.

Standard 30 day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
