Recording Studio/Rehearsal Space in NODA

Intro: Young musician residing in Charlotte, NC. I am opening up my personal studio for guests who need a creative space on an hourly basis. I have over 15 years of guitar experience, 6 years of songwriting experience (mostly rap), 5 years of engineering experience (have a certificate from Maximus Studios for their in-depth mixing course), 4 years learning different instruments and producing. My music knowledge extends way back to the 50’s & 60’s, ranging from different genres, iconic faces from different decades, and how each sound influences the next. My favorite genres are classic/prog/psychedelic rock, blues, hip-hop/rap, and early heavy metal, though I can help you with virtually any genre or style of music. Music samples can be provided to clients who request it. *** Please read everything listed and feel free to reach out if you have any questions*** The Space: - This is a 272 sq. ft. room (17'x16') located on N. Davidson St. in the heart of Noda - Open 24/7 and can be booked at any time, unless it is already being used - Security camera at room door to monitor people coming in and out as well as sound - The room is located inside a rehearsal warehouse (Noda Studios) with many other rooms - Can be used for recording, mixing/mastering, production, podcasts, photo shoots, video shoots, as well as small performances (less than 10 people) - Room includes small fridge, microwave, couch, mixing desk, office chair, and two additional stools (Equipment listed below) - Can also use guitar amp and cajon for additional seating - Warehouse includes 3 vending machines (takes card and Apple Pay) and bathrooms (though keep in mind they are pretty filthy and do not get cleaned often) - Breweries directly beside warehouse and several food places within walking distance ***DISCLAIMER: THIS IS A SHARED WAREHOUSE WITH SEVERAL OTHER ROOMS USED BY BANDS REHEARSING AND OTHER PRODUCERS. THIS CAN SOMETIMES RESULT IN VERY LOUD NOISE WHICH CAN AFFECT RECORDING. UNFORTUNATELY, I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THIS NOR DO I KNOW EACH INDIVIDUAL ROOM SCHEDULE. I AM WILLING TO OFFER REFUNDS OR RE-BOOKINGS IN CASE YOU ENCOUNTER THIS BUT PLEASE UNDERSTAND IT IS OUT OF MY CONTROL. USUALLY MORNINGS AND WEEKENDS TEND TO BE QUIETER BUT BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK*** Bookings: - Bookings are per hour basis and only include space and equipment listed below - Guests are expected to leave the space as it was before they arrived - Please remove any trash and equipment that does not belong there - Guests should be mindful and respectable of space and equipment (any damage or theft will be charged to guest) - Upon booking confirmation, someone will bring you a key to get into the room. At the end of your booking, myself or someone else will come retrieve the key. *** As stated below, audio interface and computer are not included unless you book me as engineer/producer. Please keep this in mind as you will have to bring your own audio interface and computer for audio production if you are only renting the space without additional services ***Additional Services provided by me [Production/Engineering]: - Recording (Additional $20/hr) - Mixing/Mastering (***Can be sold separately - Divide prices by 2***) - Basic ($40/hour) - Up to 10 tracks, minimal effects - Moderate ($60/hour) - Up to 30 tracks, can do small automation and autotune - In-Depth ($100/hour) - Unlimited tracks, virtually any effects/panning/automation, attention to detail. Recommended if you want a polished track ready for any platform. - Production Assistance (Performed by me): - Vocals (sing/rap), guitar (lead/rhythm), bass, drums, or any virtual instrument - $20 per - Background vocals/Adlibs - $10 per Equipment: - Studio comes equipped with moderate sound treatment - Pair of 8" Samson monitors (perfectly aligned and set up in equilateral triangle) - Rode NT-1A Condenser mic (with shock mount, pop filter and removable reflection filter) - Samson Q8X Dynamic Mic (similar to Shure SM58) - 2 Acoustic guitars (6 String Yamaha APX600, 12-string Breedlove Pursuit) - Ibanez acoustic bass - Vox AC15 amp (and pedalboard with 7 pedals) - M-Audio Hammer MIDI Keyboard (88 fully weighted keys) - Sennheiser HD650 Headphones (great for monitoring and mixing) - Audio Technica M50 Headphones (great for tracking and recording) - 32" Toshiba TV that can be used as a second monitor - Meinl Percussion Cajon (Great for acoustic music) - PRS CE24 Guitar ***Available upon request as I do not keep this instrument there*** - UAD Apollo Twin Quad with State-of-the-art UAD plugins ***Only available if you book me as engineer, due to iLok***
