Casita Glenfeliz - Feminine, California Boho Indoor/Outdoor Guest House

Driveway for 2 cars side-by-side. Ample street parking. Street sweeping on Wednesdays on one side of the street and Fridays on the opposite side of the street.

There is a 12-foot accordion door that fills the space with natural light. There currently are no shades to block the light. The light is filtered through an outdoor shade sail and trees, so sunlight does not hit the space directly. The lighting is evenly distributed natural light.

The casita is set-back behind the main house, so it is away from the street. It is very quiet and many video interviews have successfully taken place here. The biggest noise issue is an occasional leaf blower, but immediate neighbors are accommodating and will work around our timing. There is an HVAC system in the space, which does make some soft noise, but this can easily be turned off.

Ground Floor

No stairs. The space is at the back of the property. Parking is available in the driveway. You will need to walk along side the house to reach the back. The ground is DG (decomposed granite) around concrete slabs, and in the back there is grass with concrete slabs. If you are wheeling anything heavy, ram board must be used to protect the DG and grass.

The main house ("Casa Glenfeliz") is a separate listing and is not available unless booked together with this Casita.

Ample outlets are throughout the space. The circuit breaker is on the exterior of the Casita, behind the magnolia tree.

- Rental time includes setup and teardown. Your first guest will not be granted entry until the booking start time. - OT at 150% rate will be charged in 30-minute increments until teardown/clean-up complete and all guests have left the property, including front driveway. - Please check with FilmLA if a permit is required for your project. For shoots with 10+ people or trucks, etc, owner will require a copy of the permit. - General liability & property damage insurance are required, naming Host as Additional Insured. Thimble.com offers quick, easy, inexpensive daily policies. https://www.thimble.com/peerspace?partnerid=F3NVTDT9F - No fire allowed (lighters, smoking cigarettes, candles, etc) without Host's prior consent. If fire is required as part of your production, please contact Host and provide insurance. - No pets allowed without Host's prior consent. Please message me with details if you need to bring an animal. - No alcohol is allowed to be served/consumed without Host's prior consent. Prop alcohol bottles are allowed. If alcohol will be consumed as part of your production, liquor liability insurance will be required. - Furniture & wall art can be moved around but must be returned to original place. - Please remove excess trash with you ("excess" means more than 2 of the provided kitchen trash bags). - Parking - 3 cars can park in the driveway. All other vehicles must park off-site unless a parking permit is obtained.

Guests must have general liability and property damage insurance naming host as additional insured. If you need assistance obtaining insurance, please contact Thimble or Event Helper for a daily policy.

All furniture or decor must be returned to it's original location. We strongly encourage you to take before photos to ensure everything is precisely returned, including all accessories.
