About the Space
Photography & Videography studio conveniently located near the Powell Street exit off 580. This is one large open studio big enough for two simultaneous sets, enough room to shoot on a 12 foot seamless, and can accommodate multiple stations for client, HMU, and props. Large south facing industrial style windows with blackout curtains or fully open with ample beautiful natural light. • 2400 sq ft • Second Floor Studio with Stair access only • Ceiling 12ft to 20ft, 12ft to beams, Redwood wood • Flooring: Flat pile carpet & 16ft x 20ft wood flooring • White walls • Micro Fridge • Old School Stereo System (with bluetooth) • 4 Private Restrooms in the building • C Stands, Clamps, V Flats, tables, rolling racks included • Photography EQ available for rent • Photo Assistant available • Lighting Assistant available • Digi-Tech available • Stylist & Stylist assistant available • Very close to DTC Metered street parking is $2/hr for the first 2 hours and $7/hr after that. OR $2/hr if you pay every 2 hours instead of all day. Free street parking down the street. About a 10 min walk back to the studio. Coffee (Polaris Cafe), Public Market Emeryville, and various other restaurants within walking distance.

Great studio with great light, very versatile and flexible. The hosts were really great, responsive, and very helpful. I was able to plan the light in advance because Rob/Tim provided a chart describing how the light entered at the time I was going to photograph. I will def return for other projects

Great space, easy hosts, smooth communication! No elevator is a bummer but luckily they have all sorts of gear available (c-stands, sand bags, apple boxes, v-flats) so I was able to pack light. Tons of open parking. You CAN pay for more than 2 hours at a time but they charge a premium rate after 2 hours, so maybe better to pay in increments. 100% will book here again...easy breezy!

This space was great for our model photoshoot. Rob was highly responsive and the space was ready to use when I arrived. There's parking right in front which was super convenient and made loading/unloading quick and easy. There was plenty of space and tables to have HMUA set up, and the stylist prep, set up and of course the main set. Overall this is a great rental, great value.
