Corkage Fee: If you bring your own color tubes & lighting and do not end up using ours, a corkage fee of $250 a day is applicable.
PLEASE NOTE: Teams exceeding 10 people (cast & crew) may be booked at an increased rate (cleaning fee, site rep fee and hourly rate) customized based on size and duration of production. We work on costs with each production individually to accommodate each project's budget.
1. Timeslot adjustments: Please note, stage managers have no authority whatsoever to quote pricing nor amend your booking in any shape or form. Day or time shift fee $250, if available.
2. Avoid overtime: After wrap, the client is encouraged to take a time stamped picture of an empty parking lot and building as proof for an official hard out. Please note, we calculate your hard out by the last person leaving not only the building but ultimately our parking lot.
3. Tours and scouts: Please note, we offer one 30 minute tour before and one 1 hr scout after booking for any bookings 6hrs and above, if available. We do not offer tours or scouts for any bookings under 6hrs. You have the option to purchase a 1 hr tour for $110, if available.
4. Leave no trace: Client is responsible to return the space as found. We ask that you acknowledge the space as found at the beginning of your shoot
5. Contact: As per Peerspace/ Giggster guidelines, all correspondence is strictly kept on the Peerspace/ Giggster platform. Simply gather a list of questions and send it through here, unless VIP package added.
6. Insurance: Any booking over $1200 is required to provide proof of insurance at a minimum of 2 business days prior to the first day of entrance. COI made out to: CineSpaces, 652 S Myers ST, Los Angeles, CA 90023
7. Security deposit: Any booking above $1200 is required to provide a $1000 security deposit at a minimum of 2 business days prior to the first day of entrance.
8. Booked hours: Includes load-in/load-out, set up, and tear-down. First person in, last person out.
9. Rates: Posted rates apply to regular business hours which are 7am-7pm any day or for our 6 hrs minimum: 7am-1pm or 2pm-8pm. Hours booked outside of the above mentioned time slots change pricing appropriate to the customized time slot.
10. Overtime: Additional time is be billed at 1.5x the hourly rate, billed in 30 minute increments. Crew/talent/guests, and equipment must be out of the studio and parking gates by the end of your booked hours to avoid overtime charges. 11. Permits: It is the renter’s responsibility to be in compliance with all the applicable city and state permits. Productions should obtain a permit via FilmLA.
12. Prohibited Items: Feathers, glitter, confetti, sand, wedding rice, flour, paint, aerosol spray cans, fireworks, weapons, small particle items that are difficult to clean, non-water based fog machines, non-water based fake blood, weapons, fire of any kind (candles etc) and other items deemed unacceptable by the managers (when in doubt, please ask). An additional extensive clean up fee starting at $500 will be charged for violations to restore the studio and for downtime. Drilling holes into the walls, ceiling and doors is prohibited (no screws, hooks or anchors); only 3M command strips (double-sided tape) is allowed on the walls and must be fully removed. Damage fees apply.
13. Drugs and Alcohol: Possession or consumption in public spaces or outside is prohibited.
14. Rental equipment: We do not offer gear, please bring your own. All rental equipment must be delivered and picked up within the booked hours. Delivery and pick-up outside of the booked hours may be arranged in advance with a $100 fee per occurrence per vendor. All rentals must be removed immediately post your shoot or disassembly labor and storage fees will apply. Lost or Stolen Gear - we assume no responsibility for items left behind.
15. Uniforms & Prop Guns: Cast dressed in police uniforms, or any other official uniform, may not exit the facility while wearing their costume for safety. Prop guns must be accompanied by a licensed professional and handler.
16. Animals: All animals/pets are prohibited with the exception of service animals with valid permits. We highly advise against bringing pets. If you do, the owner assumes all responsibility and legal liability. Must be in carrier at all times.
17. Fire Sprinkler System: Please DO NOT hang or tape or cover the fire pipes or sprinklers. The pipes are constantly pressurized and thus may leak if the pipes are damaged. Full restoration damage charges and/or a minimum fine of $500 per occurrence will be charged for failure to comply. LAFD fines will be charged to the renter.
18. Security Cameras: Please do not touch, cover or unplug the security cameras. Footage is strictly confidential and recorded 24/7.
19. Damages: Accidents happen, just let us know please. Renter is responsible for leaving the space in the same condition as prior to commencement. A walk-through inspection will be conducted before and after all bookings and the renter or assigned representative must be present. Reasonable damage charges will be deducted from your security damage deposit or billed within 72 hours via Peerspace.
20. Cleaning fee: The basic cleaning fee is $150 for restocking bathrooms and cleaning them for the next crew. Renters are required to do a quick clean-up which includes sweeping the floor, wiping the chairs/tables/appliances, cleaning the fridge, putting back props/ furniture, folding the tables/chairs, and move all trash into outside cans. If extensive clean-up is required, a significantly higher fee will apply.
21: Excessive use of house power: High impact and high electricity consumption productions will carry additional charges.
22. Minors: We require all children to be accompanied by an adult, guardian or studio teacher at all times
23. Stunts: Stunts must receive prior permission in writing by a member of our staff.
