There are over 50 islands in the heart of California. This Midcentury house was designed by one of California’s most important architects, William Wurster-- whose influences remain deeply embedded in the state’s design psyche. This unique property is located on Grand Island, the largest island in the California Delta, and it's a one hour drive from the Bay Area. This is a fantastic house for an editorial photoshoot, a feature, or episodic TV show that wants to shoot on a real decor. The Midcentury kitchen is bright and airy, and lends itself to filming. The house is also located on the Delta, with it's own boat dock (boats and crew available.) The Tennis court is gorgeous, and the gardens are beautifully curated. All the outside spaces lend themselves to filming. PRICING is based on a group of 15 people or less. Please inquire for your project, prices are subject to change with the size of the project. The house is exquisitely crafted, and has deceptively modest wood structures, not unlike the Helen Rich House, or his groundbreaking adaptive reuse projects, like Ghirardelli Plaza, it's impact is inescapable. The spectacular living/dining room is a casual lifestyle of open floor plans. A wall of windows opens to a view deck overlooking the pool. The house has a 2-acre gardens designed by the renowned landscape architect Thomas Church
