Whether you are a beginning DJ/producer looking for a studio setup, or a professional seeking a unique space to work away from home, this place is ideal to rehearse, record and curate your music, create a mixtape, or produce live sounds. We are located in Chicago's south side: the mecca of African-American culture and business it's also the birthplace of House music! Only a 5-min drive from Hyde Park and the University of Chicago, or 15-min drive from downtown, this vintage soundproof basement will provide you with an independent entrance, security cameras and door keypads for self check-in accessibility. Basement includes your private music studio and communal areas like bathroom, coffee bar and lounge with several lazyboy couches available for your use at all times. Aside from a comfy lounge and artsy interior, you may also enjoy our sound system and mixing gear valued at 11,000USD which includes two analog mixers, four turntables, computer interfaces, drum machines and synths; everything installed, ready to use, and in great working condition. As in any "DJ booth" you'd bring your own flash drives, vinyl records, laptop, software, special controller, or cartridges if desired.
