About the Space

Authentic award-winning main street storefront Texas Historic Landmark Building in the center of Arts District. A certified green and sustainable facility, the 120-year-old building has original brick walls, oak flooring, and 14' high ceilings. The street is in the center of a charming historic district with unique boutiques and restaurants inviting robust foot traffic. There are two main rooms available for use: The Main Gallery, which is the original brick and hardwood storefront, and the Raw Garden, a more casual, organic indoor garden space. Two large (8'x9') garage door style front windows can open completely providing open-air marketing opportunities. Exposed ductwork and industrial details deliver urban energy. There are separate upscale men's and women's restrooms; both ADA compliant. A large catering kitchen allows for foodservice and entertaining options. Two huge (10'x20') video walls with ceiling-mounted projection systems and three audio systems are included in the rental. Wall-washing lighting, spotlighting and pin-spotting are also included to accommodate, and highlight displays and merchandise. The building is conveniently located near the intersection of Hwy 190-George Bush Tollway and 75-North Central Expressway. It is also adjacent to a DART rail station. Free street, garage, and lot parking are available. -- Rental includes all of our in house black chairs, and various round and rectangle tables. Rental does not include tablecloths, napkins, silverware, plates, glasses, etc. If you'd like to know what is included, and what is available for an additional fee, please ask before booking.

The building is smoke-free. Outside catering is allowed and alcohol is permitted with a TABC licensed bartender. We ask that the client is respectful of the 100-year-old floors, brick walls, and truss ceiling. If alcohol is being served, we also require you have on-site security starting when alcohol starts, and ending at the conclusion of the rental. This rate is $40 an hour, and is in addition to this rental fee. Please note that your rental time is the extent of when you have access to the venue, so please ensure that you have built in setup/decorating, as well as teardown and pack up time, to your rental. CLEANING / DAMAGES Cleaning is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to, within the rental time, remove or arrange for the removal of any items or food that was brought in for the event. Guests must respect the space and may not tape, glue, or nail anything to the building or its contents. Guest must arrange for the removal of any equipment or rentals brought in from a third party, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours. Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples, or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any fixative or gummed backing materials needed to hang items must be approved ahead of time and properly removed. Our staff can recommend options for hanging and displaying items where you need them. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace. FURNITURE Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs. MISCELLANEOUS There is no smoking allowed in the space. No glitter or confetti can be used.
