Dong was an absolute joy to work with from beginning to end! He hosted our wedding on his property. We had to visit several times before the wedding day and each time he was happy to accommodate. Super quick to respond to messages. Helped us with extra needs like an extension cord and power strip. Two days before the wedding we decided to reserve the guest house because of the winter storm. He was happy to let us rent it last minute. It was very clean and comfortable, even left us fresh towels folded on the bed and heaters in every room pre-warmed. Dong was so cheerful and honest. His property was absolutely gorgeous and made the perfect winter wonderland! We got married in front of a castle!! We would recommend him to anyone wanting a beautiful, forested, outdoor event!! Dong is the best!!

I 100% recommend this venue. It's a castle dream!! I and my husband booked this venue for our October wedding and it was so incredibly stunning. The host was super nice and allowed us to set up furniture before our booking time. I couldn't recommend this place enough. The views are incredible and the terrace is just stunning. We had access to the guest house with multiple toilets for our guests. He also had a firepit we got to borrow. Host was very nice and didn’t have very many restrictions. But there were a lot of problems with our experience here. Lighting situation was a major issue, the bar area was dark for the remainder of the evening and the lights he did have strung across were not bright enough to light up the area, our bartender was making drinks using his cell phone light. The wire he had strung across the main area were also very weak, our lights hung down very low once we were able to get them strung up so we had to take them back down. Also we were told the patio furniture would be cleared out before our event (wedding) and it was not. We had to move all the heavy furniture ourselves the day before. the bar area was also very dirty and had broken chairs behind the bar after being offered the bar top to be used during our event to avid bringing in unnecessary furniture. We rented the cottage and it was a nice space, big issue is we weren’t given any hand towels or paper towels. No toilet paper, blankets, hand soap or trash bins anywhere. We paid $800 to rent the cottage for the night, I would’ve expected a way better experience for that price. The bathrooms and bedrooms were dirty and dusty with dead insects. Like they hadn’t been used in so long. The fridge inside had used sauce bottles. One of the twin beds fell apart at the base once we laid our toddler down to sleep. It was a very beautiful space but wouldn’t pay so much for a nice view, especially for the experience we had. We were told there would be a cleaning crew and sanitation crew and we didn’t see either.

This is a great place to hold an event. The beauty of the forest below, the lights of the valley floor at night, and the mountain air makes a combination for an unforgettable memory. Thank you Dr. Dong for your amazing hospitality, prompt replies to our questions, and allowing my family and I to create a memory at your residence. I would recommend this place to anyone.
