About the Space
With private meeting and dining rooms and a spacious ballroom, The Whittemore House is able to serve members and guests’ special events needs. Nine enchanting rooms of varying size make it an ideal setting for private parties, weddings, conferences, meetings and other special events. A charming courtyard also provides a comfortable outdoor setting for guests to enjoy. For virtual needs and business functions we offer top-quality audio-visual capabilities and high-speed wireless Internet service. We offer a full day meeting package including A/V services, breakfast, breaks, and hot lunch at an affordable price.

Plenty of metered street parking. Hotel next door with valet and self parking options. Several parking lots in the building vicinity (although with reduced hours because of Covid presently)

Space is not soundproof
Ambient noise description
it's an old building and built very well. We have had lots and lots of filming and virtually no complaints unless an emergency has come up with sirens for extended periods of time. But it's VERY rare.

Loading ramp and space on the side of the building. We have one space that can be rented or you can find street parking.

We can move things around SLIGHTLY with our staff and for a fee, but it's an historical building and cautious about what we will agree to.

We have security cameras on all floors in the communal spaces.
Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
We have a detailed cleaning checklist between guests. We have been open throughout covid for our members and have not had any issues because of our strict cleaning procedures.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
- Disposable masks / face coverings
- Hand Sanitizer
The space has the following features:
