GUEST MUST PROVIDE A CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE WITH AT LEAST $3M IN LIABILITY COVERAGE.
Studio Time
The studios are only rented on the hour and by the hour. Half hour rentals are not available.
The last hour booked is for 55 minutes to ensure the next booking can start on the hour.
The hourly fee of the room will be charged if the renter goes 10 minutes over the time booked.
During covid protocols, rental times vary due to cleaning and sanitization procedures.
Equipment
All studios come equipped with a sound system, AUX cable, wall to wall mirrors, and dance floors.
We DO NOT provide equipment for your room rental. Tables, ballet barres and chairs are available for an additional cost and subject to availability.
We DO NOT provide internet, Wi-Fi, telephone, fax, or photocopy services for renters or signage for your participants.
Damages and Clean Up
Renters will be held liable for any and all damages to the premises caused by the Renter or any person present in the studio as a result of the rental of the studio by the Renter.
We reserve the right to request a security deposit of $250.00. Such security deposit will be returned to the Renter upon CDC confirming that there is no damage to the studio caused by the Renter or any person present in the studio as a result of the rental of the studio by the Renter.
Renters are responsible for restoring the space back to its original condition, prior to rental. This includes removal of garbage and personal belongings. If anything belonging to the renter is left behind, there will be a charge for use of the space. A $25.00 clean-up fee will apply to those that do not abide by this policy.
The Renter is NOT to alter the state of the studio without special permission. This includes hanging items on the walls, re-focusing the light fixtures, placing, pasting, attaching items to, or altering, the floor, moving furniture etc. If the renter does receive special permission, they are responsible for returning the studio to its initial state.
Requests to alter the studio in any form must be made in writing to CDC and accepted by CDC in writing prior to any alteration being made.
General Policies
Our front desk area is NOT to be used as a check-in area for renters or their participants. The Renter is fully responsible for directing, registering or greeting participants.
Lobby areas are for visitors and dancers prior to entry into studios. No athletic activities are allowed.
All participants, including guests, staff, representatives etc must fill out the Covid-19 Pre-Screening Form
Please be mindful of the restricted areas such as staff washrooms, staff room and front desk.
No person shall ring bells, use drums, blow horns, shout, make or permit unusual noises, or noises likely to disturb the dance studio environment.
We’re not responsible for any lost or stolen belongings, or any belongings left behind.
No food or drink is allowed in the studio except for water.
No outdoor and/or wet shoes are allowed on the studio floors.
The renter is responsible for informing all participants using the studio during the booking of all rental policies.
The renter is to inform us of all activities taking place in the studio during your time of booking, including number of participants, type of equipment being used, etc.
There is a charge for all drinks, snacks, products, yoga mats etc being sold here. Renters must pay for any products bought or used at our facility.
No rosin powder or any other material/product is to be placed on any of the dance floors
Media Policies
No cameras or video equipment are allowed here without the purchase of a photo permit. Photo permits must be requested in advance of your rental.
Any media content created and posted or shared publicly on social media or other online platforms must tag and geotag CDC.
If the Renter posts publicly any content featuring or relating to our studios they give us and our affiliates the right to re-post, share, publish, promote and distribute this content via any digital or social media platforms associated with CDC (including the name, voice and likeness of any person in the studio as a result of the rental), in perpetuity. The renter will not be entitled to any compensation from, its affiliates or their respective vendors in connection with the same.
COVID-19 Safety Protocols
Every person must fill out a Covid-19 Pre-Screening Form on the same day as the visit to the studio. A receipt will be sent to the person by email and they will be required to show that email receipt before entering the building.
Everyone entering the studio must remain 6 feet apart from other people.
Masks/Face coverings are mandatory in all common areas and can only be removed while doing physical activity
Hands must be sanitized upon entry
All personal belongings must be placed in the Blue Zone in each studio
All participants must arrive no earlier than 10 min before their event and depart no later than 10 min after the end of their event
Liability and Release
We promote health and safety and attempt to reduce any possible injuries: however, the company will not be held liable for any injury that may arise out of, during, or in the course of your attendance at the studio.
The renter agrees to indemnify and save harmless CDC and its associates, stakeholders, affiliated and related corporations and organizations, predecessors, successors and assigns, as well as all past and present directors, officers, agents, representatives and employees (collectively "CDC") from any liabilities, damages, expenses, debts, obligations, claims, costs (including, without limitation, reasonable legal fees on a solicitor-client basis), demands, actions, suits, whatsoever (collectively “Claims”) suffered or incurred by CDC, arising out of any action or omission of the Renter.
