A one-of-a-kind, art-filled outdoor space is a exquisite for small parties and intimate events. This Sellwood Moreland property is a working outdoor photography studio situated behind our 1908 Craftsman home. Everyone who steps in is surprised and delighted with the artistic textures and art they discover within the perimeter. Vines, trees, bamboo and gardens add interest year round. Perfect for small gatherings, weddings, parties and more. There is a lot of flexibility within this creative space to craft enchanting events. FEATURES - 2500+ sq ft of outdoor space - A variety of unique seating for up to 15 people - Four covered areas in addition to open sky space - Outdoor speaker system - Relaxing outdoor lighting after dark - Foliage and seasonal flowers throughout space - Artistic backgrounds and sculpture abound In the event of a rain event there is space to put tents in place as needed. In the evening strands of lights, lanterns and rope light create a magical ambiance conducive for relaxing and mingling. RATES Weekday hourly rate is $95/hour Weekend hourly rate is $120/hour BATHROOM - An indoor bathroom is conveniently located adjacent to space. HEAT Two restaurant style ceiling heaters are included in rental cost. SEATING There are a number of seating options to choose from to assemble the space as you see fit. Including 6 plastic Adirondack stackable chairs, a wrought iron table with 5 chairs, chaise lounge and an additional outdoor loveseat and matching chair. You’ll also find a variety of stools available to use as well. There are a number of ways you could set up rented tables and chairs in the space. ACCESSIBILITY To get into the space there are 4 concrete steps with handrails. There are a number of different floor surface treatments outside that can be uneven in places, including cobblestones and loose rocks. In addition, the bathroom is up 6 wood steps into the house with handrail. SOUND Due to our location being next to an arterial street we do not recommend this site for video. We have an outdoor sound system which you can connect to and we’ve found ambient music covers street noise nicely. ENTRANCE Guests can enter directly into this private space through a side door from the street. PARKING Free street parking is available. Guests should be able to find parking within one block of entrance. ADD ONS HEAT When weather is cool add on a standing propane heater and a table top gas fireplace for ($60 for 2 propane tanks or $30 for either). EARLY DROP OFF / OR LATE PICKUP $10/hr - Rental or caterers can drop off or pickup early or late with prior arrangement. KITCHEN USE* $100/flat fee - Prep kitchen for catered meals, drinks, snacks. Gas stove and oven, air fryer, blender, microwave included. *Dishware, flatware, glassware for events not included. PREVIEW SPACE Message us if you'd like a brief on-site tour of space prior to booking. STAY OVER - COMPANION APARTMENT We now have a modern 2BD 2BA apartment rental in the lowest level of our home.
