shed___studios: spacious natural light studio with backdrops and studio lighting

Please review all the information below before you book your studio time. SIZE: The space is a 645 sq. ft. with 11' ceilings. For events: We have fit upwards of 50-60 people for our events in the past. For photoshoots: 10-15 is comfortable. NOTE: The natural light can be the biggest draw to our space; however, please take into account it's not always sunny in Tacoma. PRIVACY: When using this space, you will be completely free from the street view and inside the building. ENTRANCE & EXIT: There is only one entrance and exit. Look for a green door on a brick building at the end of Opera Alley. PLEASE KEEP THE GREEN DOOR SHUT DURING YOUR RENTAL TO ENSURE SECURITY. RESTROOMS: Restrooms are located in the hallway to the left as you walk into the building. REARRANGING: Feel free to move around whatever you want, but we ask that you put the space back to its original layout. Of course, clean up any messes left behind. Dust mop, brooms, dustpans, and Swifter WetJet are available for your use. LOCKIN UP: Self-checkout will be available; follow the exit protocol that will be given ahead of time. Be sure to exit the building by your given checkout time. There is a 30-minute loading zone directly in front of the main entrance; unfortunately, it's not always available. PARKING: Parking can be difficult, especially on weekends in the evening. We recommend telling your guests to plan ahead. Parking is metered every 2 hours from 8 AM-8 PM, Monday - Saturday, free on Sunday. You do not have to move your car to extend your time. We use the Flowbird App, and we love it. GOOGLE MAPSs: Google Maps works best, but it will say we are located near Broadway, close to Sunny’s Plant Shop. We are just up S 7th St, and then to the left into Opera Alley. APPLE MAPS & LOST CLIENTS: We don’t recommend Apple because it tends to send people a five-minute walk down the street, next to the Rialto Theater. If you have clients who get stuck in this area, tell them: 1. Walk towards the cafe: located at the bottom of the old Bostwick Hotel. 2. Go left of the cafe, up St. Helens Ave. 3. Stay to the right. 4. After a couple of blocks, they’ll approach Opera Alley on your left, assuming you’re standing outside the green door. DIRECTIONS via I-5 / I-705: 1. Driving North or Southbound on I-5, take exit 133 for City Center / I-705 N 2. Continue on I-705 N for 2.3 miles, stay to the right 3. On the right, take S Stadium Way to Broadway 4. Turn right onto Stadium Way, continue up the hill for 0.2 miles 5. At the first light, turn left on S 4th St 6. Turn left at the 1st cross street onto Broadway 7. Turn right onto S 7th St; McMenamins will be direct to your left 8. Turn left at the 1st cross street onto Court C 9. Your destination is on your left; look for the brick building with a large green door Via WA-16 E 1. Follow signs for I-5 N 2. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Interstate 705 N/City Ctr/WA-7 S/Pacific Avenue. 3. Continue on I-705 N for 2.3 miles, stay to the right 4. On the right, take S Stadium Way to Broadway 5.
