About the Space

This 4th Floor Private Kitchen Space is 1,200 Square Feet, with 6 Hot Stations. Idea for culinary photo or video/film shoots. Or a cooking class, corporate culinary event, private event. Metered parking only in the immediate vicinity. There is a paid parking lot option a few blocks away.

Space has natural light

Natural light can be blocked out

Lighting description

Large windows both in the kitchen and in the private event space. There are verticals that can block out the natural light if needed. This is booking the entire 4th floor and the private dining room on the 3rd floor. Please inquire about catering and other services.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

Very little noise during the day, and virtually none after 3pm which is off hours for the rest of the building tenants.

Crew access

Stairs, Elevator, Freight Elevator

Equipment loading description

No ramp required. Easy access to the building entrance and the freight elevator.

Staging area is available

Locker room, Extra staff Room and/or Private Room. than Can Be Set Up as a Mini Office.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

Only those areas of the kitchen that are booked by members at the time of the shoot.

Shooting the exterior of the building is not allowed

Electrical system description

Only our Facility Manager or one of our crew members is allowed access to the electric panel and will be on site for all film shoots to ensure that all electric systems are working and are accessed properly as this is a working kitchen and we need to ensure that all refrigeration and cooking equipment is functioning properly 24/7 for our members.

Circuit breaker can not be accessed

General Rules

1) No smoking anywhere on the premises or in the building. 2) Outside catering is not allowed. We can accomodate a vast range of catering options through our kitchen members and seek to support these small food businesses by providing them with additional catering and promotional opportunities. 3) To book, please first contact our Community Manager to arrange for a time/availability as this is an active kitchen. 4) Facility Manager or a member of our staff shall be on location at all times during the filming/photo shoot. 6) Only one of our staff is allowed to turn on/off any mechanical or electrical systems in the space.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Prep tables and shelving can be moved. Cooking equipment cannot.

No smoke machines allowed

No nudity allowed

Security cameras and recording devices

We have security cameras without audio placed around the kitchen, film space, storage space and hallway spaces. We are able to accomodate a request to turn off cameras for the duration of a film shoot.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

This is a working commercial kitchen that is fully Health Department inspected and cleaning occurs 2x per day every day of the week.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Hand Sanitizer
