About the Space

Unique 1850'ies large stone single - 7000sqft. Originially Quaker family (Emlen) built. Possibly used for underground railroad. Original moldings and character. Situated in historic center of Germantown close to US capitol in 1793. Budding national landmarks like previous Germantown academy which was rented by US congress 1793/94. George Washington's Germantown white house a block away. 10 ft tall windows w original glass. Flexible owner's looking forward to work with your project.

Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
The space has the following features:

Jenny was extremely responsive and the space was even more beautiful than pictured. The pictures didn't do it justice! I had a murder mystery themed birthday party and the space couldn’t of been more divine! Thank you!

Great space! beautiful and very flexible, host is understanding and great to work with. A lot of amazing art. You're able to get a lot of looks for a film/photoshoot in this location. Just be on time and keep track of time. Thanks!
