About the Space

The space offers premium basement space in a revolutionary aboveground form-factor. We offer open gaming equipped with thoughtful amenities, all in a historic Chicago loft in Lakeview. Specialties: Wargaming: We currently stock two complete 4x6 tables with Sci-Fi and/or Fantasy terrain, suitable for all manner of conflicts between plastic army dudes. Role-playing Games: With our bespoke, high-quality modular dining table, we can support up to eight medium-sized gamers in their quest to kill things and take their stuff. Card and Board games: While we don’t have an incredible selection of our own board games (yet), our tables are compatible with 99.9% of 3rd-party equipment. For those interested in holding tournaments or other competitive events with prize support, you should know that we at the Gatehouse are also interested in this, and would love to collaborate. Leagues, Campaigns, and the Like: We will consider special deals and arrangements for multiple planned bookings to accommodate recurring events. No, I would not book again.

Space is not as pictured or described, there’s an extreme lack of detail in current description. The space is not premium, not private, not clean, and not a place for events that are to be held by people that aren’t familiar with the tenants—who are presently living within the space. Overall a very uncomfortable situation.
