About Broken Dishes

This boutique storefront and art studio was created for intimate gatherings and events, and has been used for film and photography shoots, music videos, stand-up comedy, classes, meetings, catered dinners, read-throughs, and self-tapes. Our 600 square foot space is located in the East Hollywood/Little Armenia neighborhood of Los Angeles. The front door has a window, as well as a typical shop window with privacy tinting which allows natural light to enter the space. Both windows can be covered as needed with drapes. Other features include: - Hue Color Adjustable track lighting throughout - Paper photographer backdrops - Up to 12 folding chairs - 2 six-foot folding tables - Moveable and interchangeable gallery wall - Bluetooth sound system with 3 possible channels - Body length bathroom mirror - 1 Mid Century sofa, 2 Mid Century chairs, side table, and coffee table - 1 AC unit - Back work area for dressing and or breakout space with sewing table - 1 microwave - 1 mobile heater - Microphone - Garment rack and hangers There is one restroom with a lock, and the entire studio is located on street-level. An on-site manager will be onsite or nearby for assistance throughout your booking. There is street parking, metered and unmetered, with a designated loading spot directly in front of our space. Our space is a converted open storefront that continues to be run by artists as a creative studio dedicated to sustainable design and making space for artists to create and gather. We are three blocks from the red metro line (.5 miles - or about a 10 minute walk) with plenty of restaurants, stores, and community spaces surrounding.

We're a small studio run by two individuals, and are careful to clean between any bookings!

Cancellation Policy

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
