This storefront and art studio is approximately 600 square feet in the East Hollywood/Little Armenia neighborhood of Los Angeles, created for intimate gatherings and events; in the past it has been used for film and photography shoots, music videos, stand-up comedy, classes, meetings, catered dinners, read-throughs, and self-tapes. Wonderful for flash photography and moodier looks. Lighting can be a little dim for commercial work so we recommend bringing extra lighting if something especially clean and bright is needed. The front door has a window, as well as a typical shop window with privacy tinting which allows natural light to enter the space. Both windows can be covered as needed with drapes. An on-site manager will be onsite or nearby for assistance throughout your booking. There is street parking, metered and unmetered, with a designated loading spot directly in front of our space. This is a converted open storefront that continues to be run by artists as a creative studio dedicated to sustainable design and space for artists to create and gather. We are three blocks from the red metro line (.5 miles - or about a 10 minute walk) with plenty of restaurants, stores, and community spaces surrounding.
