Nectar Community is truly a space for all. We are a Co-working and Community facility during the weekdays, and offer many different kinds of events and classes. Booking this sanctuary enables you full access to all the space has to offer for your event. A private office with cozy loveseat and chair for privacy, a 6-8 person conference room with 8' white board for detailed meetings, a lush lounge area, seating and tables for 30 people, and an open area, around 1200sq feet of space for whatever you are offering. All of our furniture can be moved around to create the exact layout you need. Since many of our classes and events involve gatherings and movement, we have a large selection of cushions, blankets, yoga mats and the like for your use. Our coffee and tea station is open to you and your guests, as well as our filtered hot and cold water. Our kitchenette has a full sized fridge / freezer, microwave, and toaster oven, that can all be used for your event. We have water glasses and mugs for 25 people, and nearly that many small plates for your event use as well. We are located in a shopping center at the entrance to the Nicholtown neighborhood, in Greenville, SC. For something close to 40 years our space was a coin operated laundrymat. The original brick still stands on both sides of the space. While there are no remnants of washers and dryers, we think people feel different after being in the space, lighter, inspired, productive, just like all of the folks who brought in their dirty clothes and left with clean clothes and a fresh perspective. This space is our community sanctuary, where people come to learn, share, grow, inspire, and connect. All people and ideas are welcome in this space. Around the building you'll find crystals, both big and small, so many plants soaking up the most delicious filtered light through the sheer curtains on our front windows, artwork by both local artists and women around the world, books and cozy nooks in every corner. Our space has been used for countless different kinds of events. Memorial gathering, art classes, movement classes, yoga, meditation, birth Doula certifications, weekend corporate retreats, financial literacy workshops, photoshoots, training video production, parties, couples workshops, women's circles, networking, business trainings, and more. With all of our rooms and spaces included in a private rental, the sky is practically the limit on what kind of event you can create here.
