Built in 1906 from a design by engineer Edward S. Cobb this building housed equipment to convert high-voltage electricity supplied by the Edison Company. This 115 year old building is filled with beautiful natural light and an abundance of unique angles and textures. It features original brickwork, vaulted 45 foot ceilings, concrete floor, an expansive skylights, a wood mezzanine level, and so much more. This historic LA substation will transport you to another time and place. The space blends industrial, loft-like character with elegant qualities in features like arched windows and doorways, making it incredibly versatile for photo shoots, editorial, print ads, film shoots, e-commerce, music videos, fitness videos, fashion shows, interviews, documentaries, and more.
