About the Space

Conscious Lab is a uniquely stunning event space located in one of the oldest buildings in Downtown Vancouver. It features original hardwood floors, exposed brick and arched windows that create an undeniable vibe. The space has been used for: Corporate and Networking Events Photo and Film Shoots Weddings and Proposals Meditation, Yoga and Breathwork Urban Retreats Think Tanks and Brainstorming The intention of Conscious Lab is to elevate creativity, connection and community. When people gather in this space, magical moments naturally follow. Included in your rental is the use of: 30 meditation cushions 15 yoga mats 65 folding chairs 6 bamboo tables Big screen TV Large bluetooth speaker Whiteboard Mini fridge Dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen sink 2 Bathroom stalls Glass boardroom with 6 chairs upon request Conscious Lab is 1100 sq ft and can accommodate 65 seated and 100 standing. *Please note that the space is located on the second floor and does not have elevator access.

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Amazing space! A true hidden gem tucked away just above the madness of downtown / gastown. The space has such a calm, grounding energy and is absolutely beautiful. Jenna and Orson are wonderful, supportive and easy to work with. Communication was great, and their hands-off style of sharing access to the space allowed everything to flow perfectly. Thank you! 💛

This place was everything my client needed and more! It is a lively, bright venue that is conveniently located near to a cafe., who provided basic catering for the event (coffees and pastries for morning tea). The host was very accommodating, fitting the group in at very short notice. He was very responsive with communication and made sure we had everything we needed to make the event successful. As an international event planner with 20 years experience, I highly recommend this venue.

We held our wedding ceremony and casual reception here with the help of a food truck. The space is beautiful and accommodated our 65 guests perfectly. We didn't bring any of our own decor at all, but still got so many compliments about the space and how beautiful it was. We're so grateful to have Jenna share her lovely space, and she was so kind and helpful throughout the process.
