The Space is hosted by Grit City Weddings + Events and has a total of 1225 square feet available for use, including a beautiful 675 square foot square room with high ceilings and amazing natural light. All walls are white and the floor is polished concrete. We have two bathrooms available for use, as well as a kitchenette area (additional 176 square feet) that can be used for a bar station or for general snacks and coffee. An additional room (294 square feet) in the back can be utilized for a buffet line and we have a dedicated catering prep area just inside our back entrance. Used all together, these spaces create a wonderful flow for events or strategic areas for non-event type of settings (photoshoots, retail pop-ups, concerts, etc). Included in the Package: - 12 six foot tables (can be used for guest seating, bar/beverage, food) - 40 heavy duty chairs - 1 lounge furniture set-up - Set up of tables & chairs based on agreed upon design - Use of bluetooth speaker - Access to our preferred vendor list of talented folks - On-site venue manager (not the same as an event coordinator) Available Add-ons: - Alternate table and seating options (round and square tables) - Additional Furniture + Lounge Area Rentals - Full Planning + Design Options - Event Coordinator - Centerpieces & Decor Options (including balloon garlands, florals, etc.) - Custom Linen Rentals - Flatware & China Rentals with Compostable Options We can also provide customized layouts, additional seating arrangements, linens, tableware, centerpieces, furniture setups, and more for an additional fee. Or, you are welcome to bring in all your own furniture and decorations after consultation with the venue manager. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Security Deposit: You will be required to pay a separate refundable security deposit in addition to booking your event through PeerSpace. The refundable deposit will be either half the time rental for events without the presence of alcohol, or equal to the full event rental for events with the presence of alcohol, maximum $450. The Security Deposit will be refunded within 7 days after the conclusion of the event, unless The Space is not left in the same or similar condition in which it was found or the renter was found to be in violation of any of the following clauses. In the event that repair and/or excessive cleaning are needed, or extra time was utilized that was not previously agreed upon and paid for, the Security Deposit will be applied to those costs, and you will be responsible for any deficiencies. All payments are payable to Grit City Weddings + Events. We will send you a separate invoice, which can easily be paid online. Covid Attestation: All guests will be required to being fully vaccinated or having a negative Covid test within 72 hours of the event. We will send you the link to our short online form that can be emailed or texted to guests. If guests are not willing to comply, they will not be allowed in the space. This is for all of our protection and to keep our business open. Liability Release: All renters are required to sign an online liability release form that will be emailed to you prior to your event. It releases The Space and Grit City Weddings & Events from any harm inflicted by you bringing in your own food or beverage. Banquet Permit: If you are planning to have alcohol at your event, you are required to obtain a banquet permit from the State of Washington. It is $10 and can be done easily online. Once you obtain the permit, you will send us the signed PDF copy or bring a signed copy with you the day of the event. If you neglect to obtain this permit, you will not be permitted to have alcohol at your event. A link will be sent to you prior to your event so you can easily obtain this.

Michele set everything up perfectly, she stepped in to help through out the night which was so much more than we expected, but also stayed out the way. My family was extremely excited and a bit loud but she made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Definitely recommend for any event!

She also was willing to help make any adjustment and help setting up some other things I brought to the party as well. Great communication with her and enjoyed working with her.
