The photo studio a self service studio located in the quiet area of Canarsie, Brooklyn. Walking distance from the B6, B103, B17, which connect to the 2,5, and L trains. Lighting description

A Large, 15 Ft wide, east facing bay window provides light to the space. Mornings are brightest, but the window gets light well into the evening. Black out blinds are available if natural light is not desired.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

This space is not strictly sound proof, but sound infiltration is rare. The space is located in a quiet, residential area , and away from main streets

Equipment loading description

The space is on an elevated first floor, just 5 steps up to the front porch for easy access.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

Private rooms at the end of the hall will be closed and locked. Production should remain in the kitchen and Studio space, with the exception of bathroom use.

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Electrical system description

Circuit Breaker is on the east facing wall of the kitchen. There are approximately 10 outlets across the space, and some extension cords which guests are welcome to use

General Rules

First floor walk up the stairs, and approach the bottom bell. - No Smoking in the facility - No loud Music because they are apartments above so keep music at minimal. - Clean up after you are done - If you move the furniture put them back when you leave. - Do not cut the background paper unless you are given permission. - If you break anything you have to pay for it. -Do not open or use any appliances or cabinets unless given expressed permission

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Furniture can be shifted for desired result, as long as it is returned to original position at end. There are casters for moving the couch and heavy items, nothing should be dragged across the floor. Anything mounted with screws should be left in place. Kitchen can be used for shooting, or additional space to prepare for shoot. Appliances and cabinets should be viewed as exterior only props and are not to be opened or used for storage.

Two cameras, one in the kitchen, one in the the living room will be on during the booking recording video and audio

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

Surfaces are wiped with disinfectant wipes prior to all bookings.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disposable masks / face coverings
Hand Sanitizer

I think the cleanliness and communication could use some more work, but otherwise the space was perfect. A little smaller than it seems in the photos, but still larger and more aesthetics than my own apartment. We got some great shots and I'm excited to see how everything looks after we are done editing!
