Historic Yellow House with Rainbow Porch Steps

Welcome to our little yellow home- The Little Lemon Haus! This 100 year old gem was rescued from being demolished in the historic heights district of Houston. It needs some work, but has so man beautiful, original features such as the original cedar siding and wood framed windows. To help support the restoration of this home, we’re in the process of creating some unique features that would make for a timeless photo backdrop. The first of many is our “Pastel Rainbow Porch”! The neighborhood is fairly quiet as is the direct neighbors. There are multiple gas stations less than a mile away. Our little yellow house is located near train tracks so there is a good chance you will hear a train passing through during your visit. The children always seem to love it! Manvel has a handful of great family owned restaurants if looking to catch a meal while you’re in the area. Manvel Seafood and Grill, Coreys Kitchen, and Weekley’s Shaved Ice + Snacks are a few great places to hit. At time of arrival, the driveway will be clear to pull right in. You will see the Rainbow Steps right away. There should be no more than 5 people on the porch at one time (alike mentioned above, the home is very old and updates are in progress- if you have larger family portraits to conduct please send us a message with more details on the group). You may use any other portion of the front yard including the white fencing and porch swing. Please do not go beyond the fence to the backyard (unless needed for a perfect shot while using the fencing in photos). This location and rates provided are for local artists and photographers.
