About the Space

We have a really unique photo studio space with large white walls, dimmable daylight balanced {5500K} LED lights across the whole space, a garage door opening in the back, 14 foot tall ceilings, a newly remodeled hair and make up/dressing room, surround sound audio that flows through the whole space and can connect to any phone through an AUX input, and so many more amazing features! This space is optimally equipped to be used for any photo or video session type. Branding, Personal Branding, Products, styled shoots, couples, families, headshots, fashion, glamour and boudoir! The garage door and the perfectly daylight balanced overhead lights allow for a very unique opportunity to mix studio lights, overhead lights, and natural lighting, all into one creation.

Lighting description

In our studio, we have a 12ft tall garage door opening that opens up into the main shooting space. The natural light that comes from having the garage door open can be controlled by either just keep the door closed, or using the giant scrim that we have in house, which covers the entire opening of the garage door to soften the sunlight that is coming through.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

The ambient noise level is variable in our space. For the most part, it is overall fairly quite. However, there are a few catches: 1. We are about 1 mile away from the San Jose International Airport, and every now and then when a plane take off you can hear it during take off. 2. The street noise is very minimal. We are located at the end of a business park.

Equipment loading description

Equipment can wither be loaded in through the front door and carried a short distance to the shooting space in the back, or it can loaded in directly to the back through the garage door opening. Neither entrance requires a ramp. Loading trucks that are parked in front of the garage door will need to be moved to a parking space at the conclusion of loading/loading.

Staging area is available

We have a dedicated hair and make up room- which has a separate dressing room as well.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

The front office space, which will be locked upon renters arrival.

Electrical system description

We have 225 amps of power available for use. There are 32 outlets in our shooting space available for equipment- 12 of the outlets are rated for low wattage, 20 of them are rated for high wattage equipment. Outlets are dispersed in groups of 4 evenly around the studio space perimeter. We also have 8 USB direct plug-ins around the studio space. There are 22 outlets available in the hair and make-up room available for charging phones, hair tools, etc. The circuit breaker is located on the wall in the hair and make up room- it is visible and easy to access.

General Rules

Please no smoking in the studio. All ages are allowed in the space. Production insurance is not required. Moving furniture and decorations is allowed, as long as items are returned to their original place undamaged. Smoke machines are allowed. Nudity is allowed.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Furniture can be moved, however it must stay inside the building. Any furniture moved must be put back to it original place upon the parties departure from the space. Furniture must not be damage in the process of moving it. Wall decorations can be removed, but must be put back to their original location at the conclusion of the shoot.

Security cameras and recording devices

There are security cameras both inside and outside at the premises, and they do remain on 24 hours a day. These cameras record a live streaming feed and store footage in a rolling cloud for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks time, the footage is overwritten and deleted automatically. These are video recording devices only- they do not record audio. There are no recording devices in restrooms or dressing rooms.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

Cleaning fee will be required for each booking. Space will be clean prior to renters arrival.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
