This San Diego single-family charmer is perched along a private canyon. The 4-bedrooms and 2-baths boasts an open, functional floor-plan with plenty of natural light. This house is fully renovated and has a fun Mid-Century Modern vibe. Many small parties (like bridal showers, baby showers, and even small weddings) have been hosted here since the large back yard is the perfect entertaining space. We welcome all types of events from photo shoots to medium-sized gatherings. Better yet, don’t leave your potty trained pet out of the fun when you can bring them with you? Thanks for checking out our space! FAQs Do you AirBnB your home or rent overnight?: Unfortunately, right now we do not. We also live here, so we do come back after your event is complete. Can I come early to set up? What about staying to clean up?: Yes! We give you 30 minutes before AND after the event to set-up and clean up. Any additional time needed outside of that will need to be booked. We have a lot of stuff, can we come the night before to drop it all off?: Any set-up needed the days prior to an event will be an extra $50/hr. However, if you just need to drop off some tables or coolers and there isn’t another event happening at that time, then we can definitely accommodate you. Is there a refrigerator accessible where we can store a cake or desserts for our event?: Absolutely! We are able to clear out at least 1 large shelf in the refrigerator (upon request) so your desserts stay fresh on warm days. What furniture is included?: The 3 wooden tables and 20 chairs you see in the listing are included as well as 1 additional 6’ black folding table and 1 30” square black cocktail height table- linens recommended for the latter two. Can the furniture be re-arranged?: Outdoor furniture may be re-arranged by request. We know every party set-up is unique, we just ask that you let us know how you’d like it prior to your event. This is safer for everyone, plus saves you time to set up your own decor! Indoor furniture must stay as is, but we will move the plants by request as well. Do you have any restrictions on dogs?: Sorta. We don’t restrict breed, we love ALL animals! But we do ask that your furry friends stay off the furniture and remain outside at all times. We have a cat that is locked away during your event and they get very stressed if they smell/sense another animal. Note: All pets must be cleared with us prior to events. How is the parking situation?: It’s your typical neighborhood so there is parking out front and scattered around the neighborhood. We do recommend taking ride share (Uber/Lyft) whenever consuming alcoholic beverages. And your neighbors, are they cool with events at your house with the noise?: We try to be the BEST neighbors possible and one way to keep these events going on Peerspace is to have our guests respect San Diego neighborhood noise regulations. That means indoor voices and music off by 9:00pm, 7 days a week. Weddings are really ok?: Yes! But we do have some rules for wedding ceremonies and receptions. We do require you to book either a day-of coordinator or venue manager. Whether you book us for coordination or someone else, that’s totally up to you! Why does the list say $175/hr but when I go to book, it says $225/hr?: Good question! Our listing (like a lot of other listings) price starts at $175 and goes up $50/hr with a guest count of 45+ guests. With the higher guest count, your booking includes the use of 1 additional bathroom and the master bedroom (which brides often use for getting ready on wedding day). Any restrictions on decoration?: We do not allow confetti or glitter- a cleanup fee will be applied if cleanup from either occurs. Also, nothing should be affixed inside or outside the home, including by means of tape, nails, staple guns, pushpins or other potentially damaging fasteners (this is a Peerspace rule as well). Are you home during our party?: On nights and weekends, we are not (outside of venue manager for certain events). During the week, there may or may not be someone in the office. We would always let you know ahead of time, although you may never actually see them. Wait, you live here?: Yep! This is our most common question so I like to repeat for good measure :)

Space is exactly as advertised, if not even better. Candice and Antonio were responsive and attentive - even let us walk the space prior to event date, which allowed us to confirm some decor details. It was the perfect space to host our baby shower. Highly recommend!

Candice and Antonio's home was absolutely fabulous for my mom's surprise birthday party. The space was perfect for our 50 guests. Their home is so well designed and decorated inside and out that it paired well with the elegance of the party. It made the party so special. Everyone loved it. Candice was so helpful and so quick to respond to any questions I had. We also were able to walk the space months before to get the best idea of how to use the space. I would absolutely book their home again.

We just hosted an intimate wedding at this wonderful venue. Candice and Antonio were so great to work with. They were always so quick to respond with answers to questions, and very accommodating. Our group was small only 25 guests. But all them enjoyed this location for the wedding and reception. This could easily accommodate more guests. But we really were wanting a home like experience. It was very comfortable for our group. I highly recommend for those looking for a similar experience. It was as good as it looks!!
